Go in, kill two man serpents, when you get to the first bridge don't cross it. Rather go to the left and fall down. This will put you by the ladder in the tar pit with all the prowling demons. then climb the ladder. When you get to the top, destroy the illusory wall in front of you. There will be a giant here if you've never been here before. He doesn't respawn.

the only secret room i know about is the one described above and the one you can open by rolling a bolder into it, which is where big hat logan is located.
