What do you guys think about classes? By this I mean Lifehunter weapons-based builds. What weapons do you guys think are based around our covenant? Lifehunt Scythe and Priscy's Dagger are obvious choices...or forbidden ones? Do you guys think the uniforms could be more restricted? Have some ideas but I don't know which one is better, versatility or restrict-class builds?

What you mean by restricted uniforms Wyrm....
May be we should leave the weapon choice open as it is. Many of us like using a wide variety of weapons so no sense restricting that

Edit: We better duel today... Been a while now

I wouldnt mind classes though I think themes would be better than specific gear . I assume the Lifehunters are more of an informal group dedicated to helping priscy than and fighting force.

Weapons that could be Lifehunter based:

    Lifehunt Scythe
    Priscilla's Dagger
    Velka's Rapier
    All Dragon weapons
    Great Club / Large Club
    Server
    Murakumo
    Painting Guardian Sword
    Moonlight Horn / Greatsword
    Notched Whip
    Gravelord Sword
    Chaos Blade
    Iaito
    Great Scythe
    Gargoyle Halberd
    Estoc
    Parrying Dagger
    Composite Bow
    Quelaags Furysword
    Man-Serpent Greatsword
    Butcher Knife
    All Demon weapons
    Cursed Greatsword of Artorias
    Ghost weapons
    Dark Hand
    Effigy Shield
    Bonewheel Shield
    Dragoncrest Shield

What do you guys think? I guess I have too many options. Maybe we could have 1 unique (if applies) and 1 buffable from every weapon category (ie. Lifehunt Scythe, Great Scythe)

Edit: We could have a restriction on lightning based weapons (strong against Priscy) and gods related weapons (GLGS, DSS, Silver Knight Spear/Sword, Black Knight weapons)

I'm against it. Reason being we're all outcasts, most already having combat experience. What are the chances we all use the same weapons, or will risk alienateing people who don't want to use them. Casting out the outcasts, if you will.

And I'm all for turning the enemies weapons against them, holy or not.

To be fair, I don't believe any item is a legitimate affront to anyone, or thing. Only how it's used matters.

I like having versatility, so im also against it. We already have uniforms, that should be enough "class" restrictions.
Like you said in the original thread, we are the forest hunters of the painted world. almost everything is allowed when invading, and if its a gank then absolutely everything is allowed. restricting our weapons would not be good idea IMO.
if someone wants to use the weapons then its their choice (i thinking of doing a Priscilla or a Jeremiah cosplay soon).

Why exactly do people try to bs me? I use the demon great machete. Its never going to work, and they deadangle themselves when they try, meaning I'm going to do between at least 500, more probably 1100-2200 damage in the next 2 seconds or so, without power within(I have a nasty trick I won't post, its my secret weapon).

Anyways, why? same people, repeatedly got destroyed because they thought they could bs an experienced dgm user.

i recently started using the DGM on my FoI toon. it is amazing.
and i think i know your trick forum 8) . thanks for showing it. i experimented a bit and i can now do the same thing with the dragon roar twisted
Isn't it beautiful. *sniffs with tears of joy* There is nothing they can do about it either once you've got it started, they're just going to take 1700+ damage and very likely die.

yes it is. i mostly use it against those spear pokers that i can never hit. but i still need some more practice with it, using the roar to do it is hard since they can be far away when they get staggered due to lag.

Beating any spear with the dgm is difficult, I keep a large club, a pike and a crossbow handy to deal with them, which i use depends on wether or not they turtle, and the length of the spear.

i have a crossbow for finishing some people. i have been doing pretty well against some spear users, the roll attack of the DGM has amazing range and i can often hit spear users at the same time as they hit me. staggering them but not me, then i can often follow with a couple of attacks.
but spears are still the weapons i lose to most, i might get some of the weapons you mentioned for the next time i fight them.
