I'm hard pressed to think of anything that immediately brings dark souls to mind. Obviously there are some classic fantasy movies: lord of the rings, willow, legend, Conan. But if I was to go for tone I would have to strongly suggest Valhalla Rising. Amazing! It's slow and there's not much dialogue but it is great. Directed by the same guy who did Drive. Honorable mention: Black Death, a surprisingly good movie. That's all I can think of right now.

I just watched a movie on Netflix the other day, that I'd never heard of, called Iron Clad. It was actually pretty great. Paul Giamatti rarely disappoints IMO

that war of the arrows in on netflix also, i've seen both of those i gotta give to black death though it was dope!! iron clad was very detailed imo i've yet to finish it tho so i gotta say i've almost seen both of those lol

Ever since I picked up the Zweihander, Braveheart reminds me of Dark Souls, then I imagine what would it be like if Braveheart was in dark souls, ya know? Almost like the other way around. Like, what's your favorite medieval movie? Now imagine that being a section of Dark Souls. Epic, no?

it would be totally off base but fun! face paint options would also be cool. i'd make my next toon a small axe build and make him the crazy irish guy who tells william wallace. The great lord tells me he'll save me, but you you're F*&&^# lol. not a direct quote but i love that guy

It had very enjoyable fight scenes - reminded me of myself in the forest - killing loads of gankers then i get overwhelmed by traitors :L

The quest for the Holy Grail. It's slow moving at first and there is some narration but man when they fight the killer rabbit....Epic and there is even a black knight.

I liked Black Death, one of my new favorites. Rather sad though in the end. I was so excited to see Boromir (Sean Bean) in it and when he 'saved' the lady from being burnt at the stake...Well this emoticon sums it up well:
