Forest Pvp...

So I'm so used to the fight club and the rules and honorable combat.
So today I tried to PvP in the forest thinking "It can't be that bad!"
First guy I fight WoG spams...then I get invaded by a Backstabber at the same time. I die. I come back with the idea that was a one time thing...Next person who invades me.... Instant parry insta-kill Bull S***. I then get a message saying "Your garbage kid. Go get rapped and then kill youself! I just blocked you" I just got up, put the controller down and left. I'm pretty experienced at this game but nothing pisses me off more than things like this.

We just had one of these :!: but yeah get used to it if you want to forest pvp.

I used to do it all the time with my friend. He'd fight them and if he failed id fight them. We pvpd there for about 150hrs. But nothing ever happed like this. Damn this just plaine pissed me off.

It's sadly getting more and more.... Well crappy. Both sides have become dishonorable fools who do what they can to come out on top. The worse are the petty gits who mock everyone they come across. Gankers are easy targets to talk about because at some point most of us have experienced it, but most hunters (thankfully none on this forum) act just the same.

More than 500 hours in Dark Souls, and I haven't fully dedicated myself to the forest. I guess it will be when my PvP skills are honed to the max.

i noticed most people that talk crap in the forest are on xbox, ive pvp'd in the forest a bit and i never got any hatemail or anything, even when i got ganbaged or i killed gangbangers, and i think its funny that he talk crap and then blocks you lol really dude?

the funniest people are the ones who used the dragon head glitch way back and have sl710 characters and think they are skilled even tho the people invading them are almost always sl120 or below.

Forest is the best area for fair 1v1 duels

Haha Darkwood Garden, try Invasions in the Darkwood Basin.

I invade with a level 9 character... right before me stands a guy, wearing full Giant's Armor, BKGA in the right hand, a talisman in the left.
Not even one second after I materialized he starts spamming WotG like there is no future otherwise.
I roll BS him instantly. He stands up, starts mashing WotG again. Again roll BS. Again the same, he died.
Some minutes later I meet this guy again. He stands at the exact same place, the exact same equipment, the EXACT SAME TACTIC. He gets roll BS'd thrice AGAIN.

Now guess how often I met this guy that day? Ah forget it, 6 times. SIX TIMES I invaded him, SIX times he had absolutely nothing better to do than spamming WotG on sight, he didn't even bother trying to turn around when casting, or at LEAST using his BKGA to lag out some damage. No, all he knows is the turbo function and the L1 button.

We know all of them. People lacking manners, people lacking skill, people lacking brain.
But what kind of person do you have to be to play like -this-?
I got about 480 000 souls everytime he died... so he must be doing that for a long... long... time...

I don't have a problem with parry OHK's. If someone parries me, they deserve the damage. It's one of the harder techniques to master. Go out there and get you some. Haha.

Yeah, I agree with that one. Parries need to do a lot of damage because the risk/reward is so high.

Especially when it comes to the MLGS, cause you don't get a second shot at parrying lol

ive only evre had one piece of hatemail i kicked a guy of the edge cause he kept trying to bs me, he messaged me saying that wasnt a victoy i should give up and die, so i replied THIS IS SPARTA!!!!! done that twice now lols

Love it! I just watched 300 2 night ago too.

I think the forest ganks are evolving. It went from havel/giants to dragons/medium/light armor with heavy weapons. I was equip for havel/giant ganks too.

I still had an incredibly badass moment today. I back stab one, turn around and parry+stab then parry+stab the other guy as well. I would have killed the phantom if the host didn't spam flask.
