Can you help me with this build?

I made a build and I want to see if there is anything I should change to make it better.I will also be using a Fire Washing Pole and Quelagg's Furysword

Decrease your dex to 45. Increase your str to 27. If your are not planning to use GLGS Dance, decrease your faith to 8. Use any pyro you like. I'd switch Havel's leggings for another set of leggings, because I dislike them.

If you're planning to use Quelaag's Furysword, I recommend you make Lightning Washing Pole instead of Fire. Quelaag's Furysword is pretty good as it is already as a fire weapon.

You really only need dex at 40, I also pumped up strength as it lets you use more weapons and increases the attack on the greatsword.

What's the Fth for? If you don't need it, leave it at base!

Also, as everyone else's been saying, don't bring Dex to 50. 40 is the optimal level for scaling damage. Those 10 points (14, if you lower Fth) will be better spent in Str.

Finally, definitely make the Washing Pole Regular, not elemental. Its attack rating may end up a little lower than what it would be if it was elemental, but in terms of real damage it will hit a lot harder.


Edit: and to satisfy Wyrm's fashion sense, just swap Havel's Leggings for the Gauntlets and the Dark Gauntlets for the Leggings--will have the same stats, but look much better!

Nice one Blaine, lol. If he got points to spend I'd say 45 dex is good for the casting speed of the pyros. I differ a bit on the Washing Pole because it has such low scaling... Although with 27 str and 45 dex it gets maximum physical AR of 428 two-handed, which is actually pretty good and better than the elemental right?

Kept the weapons you want to use and fixed your stats. Don't get mad people, functionality comes first. Have fun being a flipping tank

Yes, definitely better. A Lightning Washing Pole +5 has an AR of 499, but the split damage will make it weaker than a physical one. Depends on your opponent's armor, but as long as they're not naked I'd hazard a guess that around 350 AR the physical one starts being equivalent and stronger to the elemental.
