Now, maybe I'm missing something but isn't Logan an undead as well? Why wouldn't he loot the corpse for the FK soul himself, isn't it an item that would be beneficial to him?
Obviously it's just a game and NPCs don't need said items, but I just wondered wouldn't it be something that would be of interest to him (continuity-wise), especially since Lautrec mentions "being done" with the Firelink FK, so clearly the other lucid NPCs do have a need for FK souls and the like.
