Your Favorite Game?

I can't remember at all. Don't remember much about the plot actually. I think I'm going to have to dig my old ps1 games out

Like what I've done for rehabilitation from Souls? I should probably play Legend of dragoon again, though after my exam has finished

Also I remember the plot pretty well, seeing as I've done it a few times.. though I'm sure I'll pick up more details like I do every time I play another game through again.

It's not easy either. I've been trying to get out from under DkS for like 2 months now. The only thing that's really done it so far was Arkham City, but as soon as I finished it I went right back to DkS

Isn't it? For me I just got plain bored of Dark Souls.. I stopped finding enjoyment in playing it so I just played other games, I've gone through 5 so far

I bought a bunch of games, and so far the result has been me finding them kind of stale and getting bored of them quickly. Right now I'm sitting on Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Revelations, and Infamous 2. Haven't finished any of them and don't have much of a desire to play any of them. I'm thinking about trading them in, along with a few other things, for something new and exiting. SSX maybe?

Nah, you'll need to roll the dice to find a new and exciting game, something which looks cool but only gets reviews of "good", like, around the 75% mark so it goes under the radar. A surprise package kinda game.

Final Fantasy 6 & 7. Stronghold Crusader, Medieval Total War, Demon's Souls and Vagrant Story.

Thinking about trying to find Enchanted Arms. Also developed by From, and my understanding of it is that it was kind of an under the radar game like that. Also thinking about checking out Folklore. Which I played for like 10 minutes at a friend's house once and have heard great things about.

Just checked my stash of PSone games and I have Legend of Dragoon. It's in mint condition. I bought it new from 'Another World' in Leicester, now sadly defunct (Another World, not Leicester). It was a great independent games store which sold import games too but it got taken over by Forbidden Planet which got rid of the games. Anyway I'd forgotten that LoD came on 4 discs and has two manuals. It's so long since I played it I'm afraid I've forgotten the story altogether but I may give it another whirl.

I also spotted Symphony of the Night, Vagrant Story and Shadowman which is one of the weirdest games I've ever played. I think it came out first on other systems. It got terrible reviews on PSone but I loved it because it was such a mixture. Strange Temples, Tattooes, Voodoo, The Asylum, serial killers like Jack the Ripper, The Cathedral of Pain. You name it, it was in there.

Yep, one for discs 1 & 2 and one for discs 3 & 4. I'm so glad I hung onto most of my early games.

I've got the discs, but my manuals for the Ps1 all got put into this one drawer... yeah poor of me I've learned since my days as a 10 year old

I've just gone in there, found every last manual and put them back into the cases, and I found both of the Legend of dragoon manuals, SUCCESS!!!

Also I found something hilarious and cute which me, my brother and nephew made, when we 'created' a 'game'. I'll upload some pics of it, it's so adorable.

Heresy! SO disappointed in you 3 Slake, Plastic and Serious. ow could you forget that Shana had a twin sister who was on the ghost ship when the Black monster attacked it, leaving Shana safe on ... crap. but yeah she had a twin who was killed instead of her.

Oh yeah i remember now, that explains it pretty well.. but if that's the case why did the black monster attack dart's town... makes no sense :| Not surprised I forgot about shana's back story, I really didn't like shana as a character.. I even preferred Meru and thats saying something...

The other thing I hated is you HAD to have Dart in the team. I really wanted to do a playthrough where I shunned my usual team for weaklings like Meru, Shana and well Haschel cus his combos were annoying as hell (even though he had no elemental weakness... like a boss.)

Also i find it hilarious that we highjacked this thread paying tribute to one game

It deserves such a tribute. The black monster attacked his town because it didnt know where to find the princess. Te dude it tortured assumed it was talking about the one on the ship. Now that i think about it Shana may have been sent away as a child, hidden from the world in Seles. the thing that annoyed me about having dart was he became a much higher level and made levelling the team equally hard. On my last playthrough I levelled everyone equally so I could use whatever party i wanted and he was always in the way. I hated how they basically made the bow useless. You couldn't get enough damage out of it.

I think the bow was great by the end of the game though. It wasn't the damage, it was guaranteed loads of SP every attack, so it provided it's dragoon almost non-stop, so healing without using up items was always available, kinda why I swapped between Rose and shana/miranda and kept those two equally leveled behind my 2 attacking gods dart and albert.

My first playthrough stalled at the city of the dead. i used Albert and Kongol. o ne of the enemies there has an attack (when its under 50% hp) that put them both into red hp. Unless I kiled it before it attacked I basically had to heal them.
ALso guarding is a mechanic I love and should be put into more games.

3 wsy tie. Skies of arcadia, Star Ocean 3, Morrowind. well over 1000 hours in each. For single player games, thats 6 to 10x normal.

I am thinking about playing Pokémon again from time to time... Despite its childish thematic, it could fit ever strategy lover! However, my old games (Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver) are broken or "finished" / "maxed out", that it's no fun to get in it again. I refuse to buy a new Game Boy for the actual PKM games. I grew up with Pokémon and spent hundred of hours in these game! Hell I even began playing The Trading Card Game! Which was also fantastic and great fun!!! And it still is!

My favorite game, hmm.

I would choose Dragonball Z as one of them, I grew up with it.

Besides that, there's Dark Souls, any Pokemon game, Fable 3 was a good one aswell.

Most important League of Legends, I do tend to play it quite alot.
