by Iblis Wed May 16, 2012 2:29 pmI read somewhere that if you jumped in to the hole and placed the lordvessel without speaking to either kaarthe or frampt you would betray both of them. so it might be possible to have some other ambigous ending concerning the pendant. i tried finden a thread regarding this on the forum but was unable to.

If I were to try it, I would shoot arrows at Frampt until he left before I got near the hole. It's certainly worth a try.

Lol.....my first playthrough I had no idea Kaathe existed. I kinda forgot about Frampt too and got the lordvessel then beat Four Kings. I returned to Firelink still wearing the Covenant of Artorias and saw Frampt. I said to myself "Doesn't he come out of a big dark hole?" Then: "I wonder if I jump in with the ring I'll live and there will be something cool there." So I ran straight into the hole and next time I went to feed him he scolded me and left. Turns out I was right in that I would live if I jumped in with the ring. I just didn't know I would survive without the ring too. Oh well. I never really liked Frampt anyway

his item eating is so helpful to have available. Usually is the tie breaker in me not becoming a dark wraith. The uncracked red eye orb is pretty great too though.

I gained a couple levels from random crap I had in NG but then I figured out how to get about 20k in Anor Londo in a few minutes time and decided that Frampt was more tedious to get souls from.

My first playthorugh he was sleeping and I didnt want to get rid of him cause I wanted him to eat stuff so I jumped down there. Turns out I wouldve been better off punching him.
