Yes, there should be a shortcut you can open close to the bonfire that will take you all the way to right before the Gaping Dragon arena, it looks like a tunnel that leads up to the bonfire in that room with a few rats and slimes right before the entrance to blighttown, open that and you won't ever have to see Basalisks in the depths again.

BTW, very nice build you're going for, the only thing I would maybe do is take a few points out of Vitality and pour them into an extra attunement slot, give you some more spell range.

I love it when co op not only gets u a bunch of souls and you humanity, but an awesome item.

Cant find that shortcut to blighttown.

Stand at the merchant. Look backwards towards the waterfall. Hug the wall to the left and go forwards. Dont go to the gaping dragon. Keep hugging the wall, and you will find the tunnel. Also, if you read my spoiler before, which isnt a spoiler now that youve finished the depths, youd know that if you hug the left wall while sliding down the waterfall ramp after the big rat, you will go STRAIGHT to the merchant, skipping the basilisks. The tunnel shortcut mentioned earlier is faster than this shortcut, but both are great shortcuts

You can BS it or use a bow. It can be parried you can risk it.

You can alos lure it back to the ladder you came from to plunge attack it.
For me myself though, I prefer backstab them, they usally fall of the walkway

Thanks serious and I finally beat blighttown, it took more to leave than to beat it currently using crimson hood+2, wanderers shirt+6, wanderers machente+5 and a crimson skirt normal with a reinforced club+7 and eagle shield+7 and im getting raped by the snakes in sens any tips?

Two handing a zweihander is a great way to keep them staggered. And bsing them works too.

you can also counter the snakemen, or as said, backstab them.

Ohhh, parrying them is hard as heck, though. I know. Just went through there with a no shield character -_-

Joebroski09, I haven had much of a challenge to parry them :O sometimes just as easy as the silverknights with swords..

Well, their head attack cant be parried. And their lunge attack is suuuper slow and suddenly fast. And they usually start with the lunge. Though, i can see it being easier with a shield. Its their first attacks that are a pain and are the ones that need to be parried if you are using the parrying dagger.

Crystal greatsword from the merchant in the depths is a good one too

I am lvl 47 and I am on the balcony bonfire, am i far from the golem?
