I can't tell if this thread is extremely racist or extremely anti-racist. If anti-racist, then good for you. If racist, then... Um. Yeah. Uncool.

The object is so wrong I cant believe it was made. (I say wrong not racist as you have to consider the fact its a child holding up a table.)

By the look of it, that is being sold in the front window of a store. That is horrible.

Sadly there's a big market for these old pieces of "art." The little jockeys are still pretty common.

How old is this?
I'd interpret it as an ironic jab at world history, though it could be seen as offensive, I think a thicker skin is needed to be able to appreciate it.
Though this really belongs in a museum of oppression, rather than the front window of a shop.

well, I do not think I have seen anyone hold my glass yet. Of course, that is not a man... that's a manniquin (I got that right, eh?)
Still, it could be worse; It could actually be an African child holding that glass top. For some reason, it seeks to want to show a form of ideals that are either of hatred, spite, or arrogance. Can't put my finger on it, thou.

Has anyone here watched four rooms, that show about the four dealers and people trying to sell various collectable items? In that show, one man tried to sell an adult and a childs KKK costumes to the dealers. One of them actually offered to pay him to cut up the childs costume, and take the other one back with him (He ran a museum on the history of hate crime). That's pretty much a prime example of the fine line between racism and anti-racism right there. It just depends how you see it.
