Might I suggest the For the Glory of Alvina thread? It has a lot of tips for killing the likes of Griefers and Gankers. Never feel bad about using the dirtiest of tactics on them as well, sometimes to deal with scum you have to get a bit dirty yourself.

unless you have enough skill to beat a 2v1 or 3v1, honestly the best thing to do is waste as much time of theirs as possible. it's a lot of fun

Play host. I tried being a DW on a few toons and I found that more often than not jumping into a gang of people isn't the most fun (though, it does have it's moments ). Clear out an area and Dried Finger it up! No worries about being ganked and you can play at your own honor code. I've found more people to actually be respectful and fun at dueling this way. They know you are there specifically just for them, the area is clear, and they now know that they won't be jumped either. Fun times had by both parties.
