Wow I'm like faith 12 LOL, but I can try the gold resin like I did on four kings, you just did not saw it. Plus that fight was pretty crazy the kings spawn time was waaay too long don't you think?

yeah found the same thing with my silver knight cosplay char... the maxed silver sword is brutal and even a maxed balder side sword is only equal to it at 40 dex, now i'm working on getting the faith for slb so it will be even nastier

and the 5-2 boss is dirty collosus i think, 5-3 will be harder depending on your strategy as the boss is weak but VERY well guarded

LOL yeah i saw that, maybe ill get some resin then too and we can just trash him

but yeah the last king must have glitched it took like 2 minutes for it to appear.. thought it had broken :|

yes dirty colossus that was it! but no i go round in order, so it's 2-3 next. more challenging times hopefully.

i had an interesting battle with the 3 kings... me and my two sunbro's delt so mush damage that the boss was done before the fourth king even appeared...

ah stonefang tunnel, good times good times, try to pick up the special heavy sword stashed in that area...

Just for reference, the Silver Knight Sword used to have an inherent lightning effect that was removed with the patch, and thus now it can be buffed. Has been one of my favorite weapons for a while, though.

I wouldn't mind being able to weaponize a corpse or two, like turning a sad unfulfilled hollow soldier into a nifty little club. I mean, if the goblin things in Blighttown can turn their friends/enemies into weapons, why can't I?

I'd love to pick up one of those torches the hollows have a swing that around.

If the R2 was that frenzy combo the hollows do, then I think invasions could potentially dissolve into a bunch of dudes spastically colliding into each other until someone stops moving

A note on the SK sword, if you are doing even STR/DEX at 35 a +5 SK attack wise will be even with a +15 longsword, and there after be surpassed.

On that note, I might try out the Silver Knight sword....

still though new topic: Do you think it's disgraceful that people use glitches as recommendations of how to deal with things on this forum?

This isnt even a real issue. A couple of levels accidentally is no big deal, but guys are recommending glitches as the solution.. It's just advertising exploitation of game mechanics to a guy who is obviously new to the game.

I agree, it definately shouldnt be the recommended way to deal with a problem like that... although thats kinda biased as i hate the use of those type of glitches in general. And for anytime ive ever used a glitch like that in a game before, I get bored of the game after that really fast.

I hate glitches as well, but i still think that recommending it to a new player for such a menial problem as one or two accidental levels is stupid.

The fact it's being recommended on the forum at all for anything is bad in my opinion becuase of the way low level online has been ruined by it

I disliked that thread too. What's the point of copying stuff if you are just going to be recollecting it. Now if you had farmed 15+ various slabs and had many weapons capped out I can understand a little bit, mostly red/white/blue, but otherwise it's pointless.

For me, if you can't not share glitches in the forums, just by indicating them means you are a glitcher and should be banned. I mean, this is why the forum exist, so we can help people. But why you would want help if you have all items in the game?
