I agree which is why I always have a stylish head piece on at least. My current forest host has Balder armor, iron leggings and a wanderer hood or pharis hat!

Oh man xD that sounds like a rough set of ideals to abide by. Blundering gracelessly into (barely) success is like a running theme for me !

Of course there are stylish armor pieces! The Pharis hat is awesome on a female character! Then again if you're a dirty pervert like me the Blader set isn't too shabby either, just dump the head piece as it's atrocious looking.

Stylish armour? Have you never seen people wear a boar helm with smough's chest? It's the epitemy of Dark Souls fashion!

I became an expert against greifers darkwraiths with lighting backstab weapons. My Effigy Shield and my Large Sword says die when I was first being a Gravelord. Then, it turned to more steady weapons. Still hate rapiers or spears with really heavy poise and greatshields, thou. Gonna have to destory them some way.

Only thing that has ever really worked for me against spear users is waiting for them to get impatient or parry. one is time consuming the other is chancy ahh well.

They are usually easily repelled by shield blocks. Sadly, my shield is very small, which works against me. Plus, it usually staggers only when they do not have enough stamina, in which you have to wait for them to screw up.

I just two hand my normal halberd and poke them from afar haha!

Well, you got close. Sounds familiar.

Just from experience, the game has little terms of being nice to the player. The fame was not designed for the player to enjoy easy streak. All about those who can plow threw. I became very good at it. Firebombs and a club in Catacombs to kill Pinwheel first. Hell ya.

Firebombs? Pfft you had it easy all you need is a club and a shield for pushing off edge purposes. necro's are easy to backstab. only thing is the pinwheel skele's and I just run for my life there...

you mean bonewheels. Well, I had to fight against, ew... what were they? The titanite demon, the Black knight... I don;t quit and reload, I kill them. Bonewheels are pretty easy. Firebombs are good, if you know how to aim. I usually aim with them manually against necromancers and skeletons to draw them, as well as the titanite demon.

My shield I usually have does not have 100% physical block... usually my shield I use is a skull lantern. My equipment helps later, when I go straight from catacombs to tomb of giants for silver ring and effigy shield. That, and also the souls and eyes, and the white chunks for later access. Sometimes, if enough time, I fight the large skeletons for the divine ember.

You would want some firebombs here... trust me.

Right yeah... Ill concede that :') If I was going for the large ember I would most definitely want some firebombs or something!
