I have been absent for a while due to my internet being broken for a few days (I told you it was bad right?

Anyway I'm not dead and I've been craving Dark Souls, even though I'm getting to the climax of Legend of Dragoon.. CHOICES, choices.

Alright, back from my trip. Had lots of good wines, found an amazing cheese place and took the opportunity to sample a few craft beers. Good stuff for the most part and the last nice surprise was the just starting NY craft liquor industry. Tried a honey based liquor very reminiscent of the Polish stuff I've had before. That place also had mead. First time trying that and not too shabby. Found my new favorite gin and bourbon at the last stop of the tour also. NY.....land of awesome booze! I also got to have a short hike with my wife in a beautiful state park and a nice tour of the town we stayed in. Tolvo might get a kick out of this......our hotel was in Bedford Falls.




Ok, not really but we were in Seneca Falls, the town that inspired the movie setting. They had everything ready to be covered in white Christmas lights. Great spot for history as well as women's rights. Yay brief vacation!

It was just my wife and I for that. Our teen daughter was with my sister and had a good time giving her husband crap. Our little one got spoiled by nana including a carousel ride. If anyone is looking for a hell of a good wine tour I would recommend this area. Each place was definitely unique and most are casual. We stopped at eight places and didn't scratch the total number of wineries/breweries and other potential places.

Got the convocation out of the way today, was a small hassle, but ah well.

Now I need to figure out what to do with my life though :S
