Title says it all, guys. Just wondering what are some good PC games out there for a decent laptop? I mean, I can run Crysis 2... fairly well.

Crysis 2 was pretty good, at least gameplay-wise (I played it on console). Speaking of Trine though, my brother loves those. I haven't ever played it myself, but it looks pretty good, both 1 and 2.

Okay, cool. Tell me more about Sins of a Solar Empire. I see it's RTS--I'd like a little elaboration from someone who's played though, dough?

Basically its a space based RTs using the 4X system (xplore, xpand something something). It has 3 races. The second one is coming out soon (beta 3 is out) and its adding a ton of new stuff like titans, new mission types and more ships. You have to research new ships and stuff from tech trees, there are 2 expansions dedicated to diplomacy and defensivenes. Its pretty cool.

That does sound pretty cool, especially for about 4 bucks on amazon. Is it anything like StarCraft? Sounds like it might be, except much more in depth.

mmm, not really. You have planets where you increase your pop for gold, and mine asteroids for metal and crystal. You also build structures inthe gravity wells. Each gravity well acts like a mini arena. Its hard to explain but trust me its a gret game.

Sins is a great game dude, games can last hours, and pretty much every fleet on fleet battle is Micheal Bay cinematic worthy

Re: Need opinions for PC Games
Dough already said Sins, but another amazing strategy is Supreme Commader, if your laptop can run it. There are lots of mods for both of the games too. The original Crysis is an amazing FPS, and the phsyics and map editor are unbeaten to this day. If you're looking for RPGs, good options include Two Worlds II (Unique spell system, amazing graphics), the Titan Quest Series (And the unofficail sequel Grim Dawn is to be released next year), and to an extent, Freelancer, which is a space combat game with near ENDLESS customisaiton options. The Discovery mod at a load of new features and offers multiple online servers.
For a note, Supreme Commader 2 is less graphic intensive, more like Starcraft, but is noly available through Steam activation.
These are just my favourite games in each genre, hope you try some and enjoy them!
