What games are you playing now or soon? Current and upcoming games

This thread is for discussion of games OTHER than the Souls series that people are playing or are going to play. Feel free to post back log of games, classics/retro you have never played but plan to, awesome games you have played and would recommend to others, current games you are playing, and future games you plan to play.

I'll start by saying my backlog has become quite deep due to PvP in both Souls series lol. I am currently playing Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor on the DS and loving it. It is a great turn based strategy game.

My next few games to play will include:

1) Catherine

2) Xenoblade Chronicles

3) Kid Icarus Uprising

4) Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (never finished it when it first came out)

5)Radiant Historia

6)Chrono Trigger

7)SMT: Persona 3 and 4 for ps2

8)Disgaea

My future games will include:

1) The Last Story

2) Game of Thrones (love the series and the game looks awesome)

Damn, now I have to say it again. I'm playing Borderlands and Saints row the Third, and am waiting for *Takes a deep breath*: Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 2, and Dragons Dogma. That is all.

I'm actually thinking about playing Just Cause 2 Again. That game is hilarious with the stuff you can do it in it. I was thinking about just uploading videos of me flinging cars around and landing perfectly haha.

Do skydives where you land on a plane which you then barnstorm under a bridge, I'd watch it.

Touhou Koumajou Densetsu 1 and 2. Just completed 1 and playing 2.
If your wondering it basically plays like those castlevania games.

I've ridden a jet before under a bridge while riding on top, attaching a car to my jet sending me flipping into the air where I landed on the car as it flung from the bridge while the jet blew up hitting another car sending me into the city where I landed on a skyscraper and fell off of the side of it landing on a limbo blowing it up and sending my character flying from the car and onto a motorcycle where I stopped and looked at that carnage. That is the most ridiculous game I've ever played, and I love it for it haha.

I'm playing all kinds of stuff right now; and due to my brand new knee injury it seems like all I'll be doing for awhile is playing games. I'm playing:

-Assassin's Creed Revelations
-Infamous 2
-Skyrim
-Silent Hill Downpour
-Seiken Densetsu 3 for SNES

Sadly I think I'm actually enjoying Seiken Densetsu more than anything else. AC Revelations has some new content that's enjoyable, like the fortress defense mini-game, but it also has some pretty major stumbling points. For one thing the whole equipment collecting system has gone right down the toilet. I accidentally got the best sword and armor during the first 4 hours or so of game play. Once you do that what's the point of getting anything else? Both Skyrim and SH Downpour have some pretty game breaking bugs. Downpour's aren't nearly as prominent as Skyrim's but it still has some pretty obnoxious ones. I guess I don't really have anything terrible to say about Infamous 2, other than that it just hasn't really been holding my attention. Seiken Densetsu has been great so far though. It's reminding me why I started playing console RPG's in the first place.

Currently still playing Battlefield 3. I have also been putting a lot of time into Resonance of Fate again.

Catherine looks awexome but still gotta beat Skyrim. I am also getting my portable fix with Escape Plan and Super Stardust and Motorstorm RC from time to time (yay free games, thank you Scion)

Sorry to hear about the knee. I have had two reconstructions on my left one so I know where you are at. I just you-tubed seiken densetsu and it looks cool. Are you playing an imported version or is it available for download on the wii/3ds?

Seiken Densetsu is awesome. It's the first sequel in the Mana series. It's actually a prequel to the original game. It plays pretty similarly to the original. The big game play difference is that instead of giving you multiple weapons to master it gives you multiple heroes to choose from, and each hero has multiple class upgrades that each play differently. The plot isn't nearly as good as in the original but the game play is just as good, if not better. It's making me feel reminiscent for games like Chrono Trigger and, of course, Secret of Mana itself; which was the first console RPG I ever played.

I've replayed Chrono Trigger a ton of times. One of the best sprite based RPGs. La la la la laaaa......Let's kill Magus, he's a jerk.....la la la la laaa......Wait....
He's not the bad guy? He's actually a pretty nice guy? There's waaaaaaay more game left? There's how many endings? What's going on here?

The Mana Series' weren't slouches either......

I liked Secret of Evermore a lot too. I don't think that game gets enough credit.

That one was good. Did you ever play Chrono Cross? That one had some good moments too. And Suikoden. I never found all the characters in that one.

I liked CC. Never got into the Suikoden series though.

I added Chrono Trigger to my to play list as well. I have the DS version I will play at some point. I have to say I am loving the Shin Megemi Tensei series though. I am going to tackle persona 3 and 4 later in the year.

I finally got my hans on Football Manager 12, goodbye life!
When Im not in FM im playing FIFA 12, but kind of won everything online so wasnt that fun.

If im not playing Football/Soccer games driving my Lamborghini Spyder through LA in Midnight Club, and when I feel like shooting someone I play MW2 (my budget on games arent that high, so Im not updated at ALL)

Fri- Combination Mass Effect 2/ Dark Souls

Sat- If I have the time Mass Effect 2/ Valkyrias Chronicles

Sun- RL

Mon- Mass Effect 2 Dark Souls

Tues- Mass Effect 3

etc.

This is an example of what would happen if I didn't have to work or meet social obligations...

currently playing kid icarus (actually has a pvp function!) and the weapons are fun.

next up on a console will be to finish up skyrim, then maybe replay suikoden 4 and 5 then play dragons dogma and that should tide me over to august in time for dks dlc (mind you this is in between when im playing dks or when my dads playing it.)

I just finished doing that too. It was the game I used to peel myself away from DkS initially. Origins is so great. Alistair is one of my favorite characters in any game ever. Morigan gets too much credit. I think Alistair and Sten are way cooler. That game also has whats IMO the best merchant in any RPG ever. The lirium-touched dwarf in Orzimmar. He cracks me up every time he explains his lunch to me.

I also forgot to include that I'm playing Company of Heroes right now too.

Mass effect 3, Skyrim, dark souls. Sometimes Lost planet 2. Usually the games i play, Oh, also Final fantasy 13-2 DLC
