Role Playing Covenant...?

I was just wondering if there was a legitimate role playing covenant. What I mean is, you create a back-story for your character, you religiously stick to your class, and the rules of the covenant, etc. Like if you're a Knight, You can't use Sorceries. I'll give you a little example.
Name: Sir Dudeness
Class: Knight
Weapon of Choice: Greatswords
Sir Dudeness was a knight from the Kingdom of Radtastic. One day, he wasn't being awesome enough for the king, So the king was like hey bro, guess what, You're out. Sir Dudeness was so ashamed, that he went and jumped on a spear. It killed him, In case you were wondering, But he had the Darksign so he was like hey now I'm in Lordran, I'm going to go be all brooding and stuff and just invade people because I'm so upset about not being awesome.

Obviously it wouldn't be as stupid as that one. Or it might, I don't know, I guess it depends on the person. I was just wondering if one already existed, because I did a bit of searching and couldn't seem to find one. A couple have had something of a role playing aspect, but not really what I'm looking for. (Priscilla's Lifehunters comes to mind) =p
If one does not already exist, Would someone be interested in creating one with me? I'm not much of a leader. xD

Its personal choice. A specific covenant for it doesn't exsist, but Viral is a good example of someone who always has a backstory for every character, and regularly posts as that character in relevant threads. I do too, I'm just not as good.

Its like D&D, if you really want to role play, its all on you, regardless of covenant. The lifehunters, and noble knights are bigger on it than most, a few others might do it to but I haven't paid them much attention.

i have yet to find a happy medium between role playing in posts and being myself its hard to distinguish between the two atm

Happy medium is to switch completely and either switch between threads or if the two must mix use brackets or equivalent to indicate a change of perspective. or at least that is what I would recommend

Well, I guess what I was thinking was like a place TO role play, Rather than just doing it all the time. Like perhaps getting a phantom, going through the game with your chosen classes, then perhaps creating a story to go with it, highlighting your struggles and triumphs.
It's not so much the lore of a covenant that I'm interested in, Although it is nice, It's more of the interaction with the other members. I did take a bit of a peek at The Noble Knights, and it seemed pretty interesting, but do the members actually like, role play and stuff or is it more or less just the organized events and such, Like the war you had?

Its mor ejust organised events. People occansionally do co-op runs where they go through the game together but there isnt a covenant doing hat you describe as afr as I know.

When I clicked on spoilers and such nothing happened, and the buttons in the reply box weren't showing up. I cleared my cache, and everything works now. Thanks though. xD
But anyways, Yeah, I guess I'll just wait and see if anyone makes a thingy. Maybe I'll join one of the already existing ones while I wait. =D

Maintaining a cov takes a lot of work too. The last war took so much planningit was the night before and we were still working things out. During it I was holding at least 3 conversations at any 1time. And planing and recruiting take effort too. Its not an easy task.
