for a little while from darksouls i have had 15 hacker's in a row.and it's wearing on me so i think i will play the bio shock game's and finish ff7 for the 15 millionth time. i might play again when the x-box player's stop this bullcrap because this is getting tiresome :x .

I'm so glad I'm on PS3. I have never seen a hacker.

Yah, it's pretty bad all over the place, since they can set their level to whatever you want regardless of what their skills are. For example, some one can have 999 in every stat, 20k hp, and still be level 5 if they want, and the game will pair them in that range.

I hate hackers very annoying best to avoid them is to take the game out dont find any while invading also people say that XBL is a better network but it harder to hack on PSN so

360 has a larger community and better connectivity, mostly due to it's paid subscriptions. More money = higher quality product.
But yeah, the PS3 is much harder to hack. It wasn't even hacked for the first time until it had been out for 3 years. It took about 3 weeks to crack the xbox.

I've got both systems but I'm playing Dark Souls on PS3 thank goodness. When you think about it, it's a swings and roundabouts thing. On XBox you get a lot of gankers online because it seems to me it's the console of choice for people like them. On the other hand Microsoft have got it right when it comes to downloading stuff like game demos & patches. Something that would take a fortnight to download on PS3, takes a matter of minutes on XBox. You pays your money and takes your choice.

I love xbl but man does our Dark Souls community suck. So many gankers who then proceed to taunt and send you hatemail. Not to mention coop is rather inconsistent; sometimes I get summoned every few minutes, sometimes not for hours at a time. Oh and half of the aforementioned gankers use that stupid cookie-cutter build, you know the one I mean (family mask, giant armor, BKGA).

I know what you mean is see way to many havel mask and giant mask and get boring and old I only had one interesting fight with someone with no weapons or armor started punching me so I punched him parry pulled a weapon and yea still funny though

I don't see hackers too often honestly. I do run into them but gankers are my primary issue.

I have seen about 15 gankers in my entire dark souls experience 0.o and this is a game I have sunk 200 hours into. Man I feel for you son it sucks when they do that (sucks more when they DC cause I was shouting them towards a cliff although maybe I should try a bowstab next time... hmm )
but yeah, gankers are about 40% of PvP matches and hackers are uncommon but not rare.

in the kiln and the forest 80% of the fights are gankers in full havel and mask

Now see I disagree. having done at least 200 forest invasions It isnt that common. (I started noting down each match) it is about 40-50% in my experience.

Regardless of the exact number it is disgusting and annoying; even more reason to launch purgings of these areas. Oh I can't wait for hunting season...
