Yeah with fire you have split damage and therefore probably less actual damage done. Defenses have diminishing returns the higher the damage done so splitting damage allows more of it to be absorbed by defenses.

yup ive tested it out i only do about 380 with +15 and 448 +10 fire

Versus standard enemies maybe. In pvp I believe the returns would be very different.

tested it in pvp as well i still get more out of fire +10. unless someone want to help with more extensive testing?

Dead angling is where you fight unlocked and sort of "spin" when you swing so that your attack comes from the side and "misses" their shield.

As much as I would love to participate, this servant must sit this war out as I am unfit to join in the fray, and don't think I will have enough time to strengthen myself before the first blood is drawn.

However, if I do get enough time, then I would love to participate in the name of the Dark Father and for the honor of Lady of the Lifehunt.

Im trying to get to 60 as fast as a can... that is my goal... 1 day to make it to 60, i will do the impossible!

Its only 400k souls! If you have the painted world unlocked use the phalanx if not use the forest. Its a rough couple of hours but it gets you to the required level.

And yeah, if you have Darkroot Garden open, then put on your farming hat. It's how I went from 31 -> 47 this morning, but I don't think I'll have the time to do it again tonight as I have some goals I want to accomplish.

Man since we spoke of the clubs , Ive been testing out the large club and it''s a pretty cool weapon , Im actually gonna have my new Infection Follower from The Followers of Izalith wielding it as a main weapon .. first time ever , a real strength weapon I might enjoy , yay !

@Wolf Sorry about the other night and never rejoining the p.chat I got into quiet a situation after Heretic and I did some trading.

Which bring me to my good news I wanted to share with ya'll

My first PvP experience in Dark Souls.

So, what happened was last night I was doing some trading with Heretic before my friend and I went on a tour through Depths to unlock my Pyro merch for Firelink. While I was waiting for my friend (Ineffable Aeon) to sign on, I noticed the door to my left became a fog door -uh oh, I'm being invaded.

So quickly, I rummage through my inventory and put on my brand new Havel set, equip my Gravelord Sword and a Great Scythe +15 as backup, along with my Grass Crest shield and pyro glove. Once I exit my inventory, I see a red phantom come tearing up the stair carrying an unknown great sword and what looked like a BK shield. He was wearing light armor, so he was quite mobile in comparison to my hulking tank of a servant.

In no time at all the fight begins and I manage to block everything he throws at me. He retreats and switches to a bow, which can't do anything against my shield and armor, but instead of chasing him, I retreat as well, time to change up my tactics a bit. I ran back up the stairs, back to the fog door that leads into the lower undead burg ally, and switch to my pyromancy glove.

The red phantom, not wanting to wait, comes charging me again, this time wielding a lightning spear (The weapon, not the miracle) and his paper thin shield. He begins to poke me, but I manage to melt his face with a pair of Great Chaos Fireballs, he retreats again, and I take a small swig of estus. I know he is using a humanity, so those two things put him back at half health.

Charging me again, I know I have more hp than him, and with my armor between me and his spear, I'm hardly afraid. So, I wrap two hands around the handle of my Gravelord's Sword and stab him in the chest. The toxic seeps into his veins and in a matter of moments, the remaining health he had drained away.

It was a good fight.

After that I proceeded to get invaded 3 more time, each ended with Lord Nito's toxin rotting them away...except for one phantom who fell subject to one of the traps in Sen's Fort.

its all good man and nice story man the gravelord sword can be beasty if used right
