Re: The Lore of the Covenants
You don't need to read it all.
The bosses left are:
capra, nito, sif, priscilla, gwyn (the decent ones)
then there's also ceaseless, butterfly and hydra, bed of chaos, gwyndolin
take your pick

Yeah nsane join in; your POLG may actually take my side in these discussions. As is the dragon and pyromancer rather dislike my beliefs in justice, gods, and the like. The op has our entire conversation.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
It is a pseudo off topic thread were we can post. It also acts as a let it out thread for those of us who have multiple personalities.

Original purpose was for it to be something like the war thread, only exclusively for lore. It was for people to post lore, especially involving the inter-covenant stuff that happens between wars.
As you may notice, it seems more popular as an off-topic thread

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
Estylla Sepheris
Age:23
Description: Small of build, petite features, brown eyes, blonde hair, thin curving eyebrows, slightly crooked nose (broken enough times), straight teeth. Often wears Plate mail or Long Grey Robes. Carries a long straight sword (either and Estoc, Long Sword, or Dark Sword).
Estylla was born into a simple family out in the sweeping forests of Caladons Northern reaches. At her coming of age she decided to become a travelling merchant of sorts and live a life full of danger, romance, and excitement. Fortunately she came into the company of an experienced peddler who took her under his wing, despite her fathers misgivings.
Almost a year later that same peddler offered her the opportunity to ride with him on his wagon as he did his roud trip of Caladon via the merchants road, being desperate to leave the peace of Two Oaks she agreed and left with him the next day. The trip north east to Scansward was tranquil enough with her intelligence serving to garner great profits than ever. However the return trip down the Merchants Road was not to be uneventful. By the second day of their trip down the valley, following the Ryn's Wash, they were to see a great tower of smoke on the horizon and hear strange reports of fires breaking out to the South West. Leaving her mentor behind Estylla made her way back through a series of forest trails to take days off a round trip.
On arrival she found the people massacred and the town raised to the ground, and the great Oaks shattered and torn by some strange force. Amidst the ruins of her shattered life she would have howled, for days, in pain if she had not become accutely aware of a strange hooded woman perched on the charred remains of a door frame.
After a pointed one way conversation during which time the hooded woman left Estylla a hollow mute the younger girl decided to follow this enigmatic figure who hinted and knowing what happened to her family.
Yadayadayada (skip six pages of exposition, twenty pages of travel, and X pages of plot developments and thematic symbology and....)
After the Yvenfell Wars had ended and Thane had returned to her at Two Oaks she knew that she would out live him. Several hundred years later she would find him dead, lying peacefully atwixst two elms. Here she buried him so that he could rest in the vale that he had come to love.
For a time she began to search from Morghan, the timeless witch that had helped her start a new life so many years ago, but to no avail, it was fruitless to search for something that would inevitably find you. And a year later she did.
This time Morghan told her that she would be leaving Yvenfell forever, and while Estylla railed against such a notion she was powerless to stop Fate. Thus she called once again on her closest friend, the Wyrm Arrodach'denurn to take her to the borders of Lordran and Astora.
Here she would find her Fate, to serve with honour, to fight against corruption and dishonour.

Re: The Lore of the Covenants
Lol the real story is about Thane and thats the story I will be developing over here in the UK. Its more teen fiction but not that over popularised crap that people are spouting these days.
I mean Vampire? What the hell? Bram Stoker was the original Vampire fiction genius. I even go out and ask people if they have read Dracula and they turn around and say to me
"Oh I thought that was a movie"
.............................................................................Ugh
Thanks though Dough Ill work on a different story for her though.
