In case you're still interested the Lifehunt Scythe is magic when fighting the Demon Firesage and the Undead Asylum Demon second time around.

Ok cool, I have it now on +3 with bloodbite ring and the bloodshield +10

think I might visit the Stray Demon as I have left it for a while

the idea of pvp being the dks experience cracks me up.

I use lh scythe a lot. it bleeds the **** out of smough and a few other bosses, like all the demons, but those it doesnt bleed it still destroys. awesome weapon.

not enjoying this weapon to be honest.. its on +3 already and I must say that later in the game its a lot harder to get successive hits in (Dark Wraiths etc) to enable bleeding..

I am going to try it out on the Four Kings later tonight to see if it does work, can anyone confirm that it deals any serious damage to these guys? I was 2 shots away from killing them first time last night.. I killed 3 then had 3 extra Kings attacking me from different directions, other than that, they are pretty easy

Just use the damn thing lol. It's an amazing weapon and one of my favorites.

who is it really effective against?

My poor crows of the Painted World get easily bled to death. I have a feeling the Chaos Demons (Asylum Demon and all the monsters of Demon Ruins) get easily bled too. Just use it and you'll see. Most are guys without armor. 4 Kings have ridiculous high resistance to everything so don't even try it with them. The Wolf Sif could get easy bleed too.

Take note from Skare and dont use it on Nito
