I think they stick to the rules and one of the rules is not to advertise other forums. The would probably go for just creating the same user covenant in their wiki/forum.

That's a really bad rule... It's not like they're losing any money or anything off sharing users but whatever. I'll have to create a Wikidot account and I'll set up the knights there with Dough if he'd like

It is not a bad rule because if you loose memebers you loose traffic and you loose something I guess. But I will ask them to make a covenants section just like we have here and go from there. Maybe I will set up something like how to properly gravelord etc.

But that is way down in the list of priorities.

I believe they are the same people from this forum so there should be no problem and I was never reprimanded for doing it so I think you should be fine there.

Mayhap we can start campaigning in game? I dont know how effective that would be but a few of the Gravesworn have joined that way.... though they dissappeared a while back.... Meh?

The provblem with setting up againon their forums is who to leve to run it? I dont want to make anyone spend time over there rather than on here and I couldnt trust anyone over there to make the right decisions for my cov.

I bring bad new. I have checked the prepare to die forums. Due to a horrible spambot problem they are basically inactive. They are encouraging members to visit the wikidot forums instead. We must look elsewhere. I am currently searching for other forums in the hope to find places to expand too.

Gamespot, neoseeker and giant bomb do not have covs. However they are all general game forums and seem unsuited to our purpose, lacking a covenants section.
Namco is shuting down their forum on the 1st of may.

They might be a place to go to, even though they dont have a dedicated cov section. Just one post with a link here would be good.

Just created a wikidot forum account in case we ever have to use that as an avenue.

I might ask some noob questions to test the waters and see if the community there is reasonable too.

Soon I'll be making an account to pm the admins asking about starting a cov section or letting us set up. But knowing what they're like before hand will be good.
Also after extensive research (the first page of 2 google searches for dark souls forum, dark souls wiki, it appears only we and wikidot are dedicated souls forums. Looks like they're our only hope.

Haha I was thinking if you were going to ask a bunch of simple questions and suddenly say you were from the other forum had played loads and wanted to set up organised events it might seem a bit odd...

They are a lot bigger than us... they have 7400 members, but they were the demons forums before so they'll have all that fanbase... Looks like we're the minnows here trying to get the big fish to play nice :|

Dough I've had a quick look through the topics and it seems like while they have a lot of members.. the forum isn't at all active.. on there hasn't been a post since 9 am my time and it's now 3... Dunno how many people we coudl recruit from there to be honest.

Oh wow I see what you mean. There sections that are all but dead. This may be more difficult than we thought.
