Demon's Great Hammer
I absolutely love this thing. It does such great damage, and usually kills people within 3-4 hits. Does anyone else think it's a good weapon, or is that just me?

Re: Demon's Great Hammer
its one of my favorite weapons in the game, imo its the coolest looking weapon in the game, i know the GC is a lil more powerful(barely) but the cool points are through the roof which is the reason i use it!

I prefer the large club, mostly for the 1hr2 and the weight.

I've been killed by it once or twice, the only problem with it is that you can get trapped in an attack cycle and it makes you easy prey for a backstab, however, if you time your shots well it's amazing, it blows through everything.
Props for using a unique weapon in PVP.

I know it can get you bs'd easily, but I feel like that factor will make you play better with your weapon.

Re: Demon's Great Hammer
I like it. It also looks amazingly cool which is always a plus. Though I suspect I'd like it more - much more - if it had a Strength requirement for 1-handing of 36 as opposed to 46. I never like exceeding 40 Strength with my builds, I just don't. I know that I could still two-hand it and for a weapon such as this I'd mostly two-hand it; but I still like to have the option of being able to 1-hand all my main weapons.

why not make a pure str build then? it gives you room to go past 40 str and put the rest in either end or vit.

Re: Demon's Great Hammer
Great Club is more powerful, only 28 Str and weights almost the half. But I like all the Demon weapons and the Demon's Great Hammer is awesome. I would say all the high Str requirement weapons are perfect for a pure Str build.

I guess, I just fear that I might be limiting myself too much if I do that.

65 Endurance you mean? I guess I could also supplement the build with some pyromancy if I need to.

You convinced me to at least check it out. I'd always wanted to make a pure STR build, but I could never fully talk myself into making one. I guess now's the time.

Re: Demon's Great Hammer
The Demon great Hammer? Bless you, it is indeed a weapon of great, great quality.
It is interesting, the hammer. Such qualities it has includes... includes.
Smashing, smashing, smashing! Crunching of bones, slamming enemies to the ground to smash them down once again! The destruction of their organs being squashed into tasty blood pies! And, and... lightning! Add a sprinkle of Sunlight on the hammer, and man you got a brick of enlightenment.
This enlightenment, I must say, is sheer power, force, strength, and above all absolute hardcore love of death and war, plaguing the world famine and conquest. You will never feel so much love for something, until you finally use the hammer. No weapon can compare to the power it weilds.
Also, to top it all off, as it is made from a stone archtree, when it hits its enemies, it feels like their is so much weight, as the hammer makes a heavy 'metal' sound when it hits enemies, making the hammer seem to show that even nature has its forms of badassery.

Re: Demon's Great Hammer
So is almost every great hammer you use. Grant, Smough, and Dragon Tooth are not exactly faster. The Great Club, too. The Large Club is a bit faster with the first R2 Attack... but is is pretty lame compared to a full slam on an enemy.

The Havel's shield is mostly just because I've always wanted to try it, and since I'm going up to 50 I figured why the hell not? Heater is obviously for parries.
Would love to duel you Rant, but I'm on XBL... :| All your advice is much appreciated, though.
