Nightwatch has been updated to allow our members to be dragons or gravelords (gravebros in our case) provided you use your powers for good... Or just sparingly... The reason for this is simply due to the respect we have for their non forced invasions and if you lose to a gravelord you honestly lose nothing... Not even your humanity and to summon a dragon you need a dragon scale... How many new players in the burg have dragon scales?

I'm worried about dragonbros... You know why, the new dragonhead glitch has been popularised, not sure if anyone trusts dragons to be honourable or elite players.

Hey, dont slander the covenant the only connection it has to the glitch is that you get the ingredients for the glitch there. no requirement to be a dragon for that crap sadly. and does this mean I cannot join here since I am a darkstalker?

If you have a sunbro/gravelord/dragon you can join, with them, but you need an SL20 uber character to prove your worth

SL 20 uber character. lulz. at that level its a case of meet requirements for murkakumo make an elemental one. laugh (or at least IMO)

However you want, you just need to be able to anti grief with it, whether you host, invade using GL/Dragon/RSS methods, or coop (using appropriate gear for the mobs and boss obviously)

Yep sounds good, after I successfully help someone kill the 4 kings I should be able to repurpose my sl10 for this.

Gotta finish the game with my SL 8 sometime soon.

Well doesn't it sound pointless to join if your groups whole purpose is to invade? Honestly idk how I feel about that makes us hypocrites... Forcing your way into someone's world is everything we are against...
And the point if having a sl 20 is to attract all griefers between lvl 1-20... Having a sl 10 anti griefer works but not to nightwatch standards...

And forced invasion is exactly why DWs are bad.

sorry, I invade on higher levels. If I invade someone more than once who is clearly trying to do the boss I will help them with it...
(full darkwraith gear casually killing 4 kings ) I really dont see how gravelords are less nasty and dragons are essentially non existent. I was not planning to wander round invading on my SL 20 that would be for Co-oping.

I shall keep away if you feel it is not appropriate for your group but as far as I see it helping newer players and killing the experienced ones are mutually exclusive (I very rarely run into people doing the bosses when invading... most of them are standing around in a wide open space waiting.)

Dan, it's more the matter of principle, aqua stated the reasons for why Dragons and Gravelords are ok, it's simply because their PvP must be accepted to occur, it's not forced like invasions.

Okay, although black phantoms are forced *shrugs* meh.

1. That's not PvP 2. BP mobs are more enjoyable than regular enemies (and if they're griefers then they deserve them too!)

I thought the main reason forced invasions were considered bad was because they made things hellish for new players? I would have thought that black phantoms would do that. I would not know since I played alot pre 1.04 but yeah.

Black phantoms aren't as bad as griefers or even regular invaders.. by any stretch of the imagination.

Get killed by an invader and you die once, get killed by a black phantom and until that gravelord dies you still have to deal with that black phantom.

It's the same as normal gameplay though... Don't take damage and attack the mobs.. Only thing that changes is they get more health and power, long as you prevent damage they don't matter.

Perhaps my SL20 build for this cov http://tinyurl.com/78c8jkk is this in context a bit too OP for its SL - the GC hits for about 1200 on full giants - if I switch for RTSR when Low HP make that 1790... The PW will always be on and not tick me to death. I will be taking 0.65 dps because of my sanctus healing me for 2hp per second. I get 12 GC's 30 GSA's, 6 GCFB, 6 GFB, 120 Fire Surge which will tick for 100 dps... I will pull out oolacile cat after casting PW. I was considering CFW but I thought that would be even more powerful xD I could pretty much OHKO anything up to four kings level almost... I could kill Smough in one Great Chaos Fireball. I deem it rather powerful, especially with the BSS that will hit for about 800+ with an r2 and about 600 w/o. I am a walking murderous anti-grief machine.

on a note the GSA will only do about 700+ damage so I will calculate the damage that toon can do overall with all his castings... 1790 x 12 = 21480 120 x 100 = 12000 2100 x 6 = 12600 the GFB is plucked out of thin air but I seem to remember it doing about 1000-1400 damage, I will stay safe and go with 1k - 1k x6 = 6k 30 x 700 = 21000 well thats all my spells so in total probably about 85080 damage without my BSS in the mix... Not bad eh
