I did, and I came a cropper, BIG TIME, in Sen's last night, after an Invader wiped the floor with me with a continuous barrage of Poison Throwing Knives of all things. It was the most one-sided PvP fight I have ever had the misfortune to be on the end of (I didn't get a single shot on the count of him stun-locking me to Hell and back), and so to avoid a repeat performance I will be looking to up my Poise stat pretty sharpish I can tell ya.

Headshotting someone to death with throwing knives without a single chance to make a break for it. that would be damn impressive.

When you see a whole squad of flipping mask tanks, you get the feeling that this lesson is very well known.

underestimate the power of poise; I wear robes and an egg, and i wear no chest plate for many more. Another wears hard leather, although no poise... leecher, she is.

Yes, WyrmHero he did have a Dragon Head. I'm also 90% certain he cast a spell prior to the barrage beginning, but after that I only remember seeing a continuous stream of Poison Throwing Knives. In all honesty it was pretty damn awesome to see (even if I was on the receiving end of it), on the count that there was no noticeable break in the stream from the first knife right through to the one that eventually put me out of my misery. To give you some idea as to how massive the attack was it started just over half way across the bridge leading to Sen's, and ended with me being stunlocked right back to the door near the bonfire on the level above Andrei, which really put me in my place as I was gearing myself up for what was up until that point looking to be a winable fight on the bridge, as I've got a pretty good track record against Dragon's. That'll teach me to never underestimate my enemy, no matter how weedy they may appear to be.

Yeah Gazman that's a glitch. Glitching the dragon head is allowing players to do some nutty things that are definite exploits. So beware anytime you see a dragon.

Don't be impressed by something like that Gazman. You got cheated out of your online gaming experience by an unscrupulous game exploiter. You didn't get "owned," you were robbed, there is a distinct difference.

Wasn't Wrym one of the players fighting for 'honour'? As Gaz says that he used the dragon glitch against a player, he seems that ge is biting his own tail.

I think I'm going to put that in my signature...
I fully back this statement as it is 150% true. Playing people in games who glitch (Power Shotting in L4D, Lag switchers in BlazBlu, Aimbots in CoD.) These people are a horrible disease that infect the world of gaming. I could go on and on and on and on and...yeah. To put it short...
I hate glitchers.

I didn't know you could Glitch like that, shows you what I know. It's a shame really, but in all honesty it just makes me even more determined to find a way around it if we should ever happen to meet again, and if/when we do I'm going all out to stick his knives where the Sunlight Maggot doesn't shine!

If you can find a way around it then more power to ya; however, personally if I run into a Glitcher I will just disconnect. They don't deserve a victory IMO. :|

All of which begs the question- would a higher level of Poise have prevented me from being stunlocked in the way I was, or was I doomed right from the outset?
I can see how being constantly hit with a continuous stream of Knives would slowly deplete my stamina bar, but the Glitcher would still be vulnerable to counter-attack if he/she did not have stunlock to rely upon, and so if you could avoid, or even find a way to break, the stunlock effect of this glitch then this would be the way around it, right?

If you were stunned from knives he was hitting you in the head. Nothing prevents stun when a projectile gets a head shot.

So I was doomed right from the outset then.

(him, not you )
That makes me even more P'd off, knowing that if we do ever meet again there is sod all I can do about it!

Well there are things you can do, but you need to be prepared, be very crafty and stay far away
