Anor Londo Firekeeper...

Hi all,

With my final Lord Soul thingy acquired (in your FACE Seath!!), I'm fast approaching the end of my 1st playthrough (yay!)...

However, with my Estus Flask in mind I intend on slaying all Firekeepers before taking on the final boss dude to give my +2 flask a bit of a boost....

Fine, except I wonder if I kill the one in Anor Londo, what the repercussions will be with my membership to the Darkmoon covenant? Will I be kicked? Can I return to the clan in NG+? I have already given 10 x Souvenirs so have DM buff and talisman....

Given my fairly new gamertag is themed on being a Darkmoon member, I'd hate for it to go tragically wrong.

You will be kicked from the cov, no longer able to invade or use the talisman. I believe you can ablsolve your sins and rejoin on the same playthrough though. If you cant you can simply join next playthrough. However just leave her alive. Get the 4 from dead ones, kill the white lady for the 5th and just get 2 in NG+. +5 will last you through gwyn easily.

Why do you only have your flasks at +2? There are four that you can get without having to resort to slaughtering NPCs.

- Chaos Covenant Firekeeper

Brilliant, thanks DoughGuy. I think I'll leave her well alone - no talisman sounds baaaaaaaaad. Well, saying that, I need another 7 levels until I can actually use the thing in the first place....

On a completely separate issue, would you happen to know who I need to contact (and how) about changing my username on here? Off topic I know

Whoops, typo by me lol. I meant to say you cant use the buff not talisman :oops:
Post in the forum discussion section asking for th ename change. If its available the admins will change it.

I'm not sure why only +2 if I'm honest. This weekend I got the one from Duke's Archives (freeing BHL), but not really spent much time looking for/finding out where the others are...

There's one in New Londo that is just a short walk from Firelink. Grab that one before you start killing the firekeepers.

See, now I'm confused. I've got the New Londo one, I've got the Dukes Archives one, I've got the Undead Parish one, so I can only assume I've been a total eejit and used one to acquire souls rather than reinforcing my flask....

Also, that first dude that you talk to at Firelink Shrine, I seem to recall him becoming hostile so I had to despatch of him....is that *another* soul I seem to be 'missing'??

The dude allow you to get one, however you NEVER use that one anywat. You always return it.
You get 5 humanity from their souls, nto souls.

That's Lautrec, and if you follow his questline you do get a FK soul, though it's not his, it belongs to the Firelink FK. Most people use it to revive Anastacia though you don't have to, you can show it to The Fair Lady or somebody and use it to upgrade your flasks.

Yes, it appears you consumed one of your FK souls (poor form) if your flasks are only at +2 but you picked up 3. There is still one in Blighttown, however.

I didn't know you could use her soul to upgrade your estus ?

Of course. It just robs you of a really good bonfire.

With 15 or 20 flasks you won't need more than +3, believe me. get parish, blighttown, new londo, and if you have time and patience, dukes. I just go for new londo right when I start the game now.
