Well we can end individual threads, but more will always come. And yes, that's the issue. If I see my 700th "Backstabs are unfair" thread, I shouldn't just come in and insult them for saying something like that. I should inform them, and have a civil discussion. If they are nice, we'll talk and reach an understanding. If I'm not nice, well I might push away new members. If they're not nice, well just report the thread if it gets flamey. That's all we can do, but if everyone does it, it is enough to make this forum a better place.

Bottom line is it sucks, but it happens. Back when I was hung up on it, I used to get all kinds of pissed off about it and it ruined the game for me. Now I just brush it off, and PvP is fun again. Just don't let those players get the best of you. There are still plenty of good fights out there. I think we all tend to exaggerate the frequency with which this stuff happens when we're miffed about it. It doesn't happen ALL the time, and I think generally we recognize that.

Based on the neg rep I got on my last post, I feel I should clarify. I wasn't condemning people who don't fit the play-to-win catagory, simply stating that such people, myself included, are going to do whatever it takes.
Being mad about it won't help you have fun. Instead, organise fights with your prefered rules in place and keep track of the people who play as you do in randoms, possibly through the friends list, and don't assume anyone you don't know is going to play by your rules, because if you have no expectations, they cannot fail to be met and such a failure cannot anger you if it doesn't exsist.

Backstab is a standard in PVP.
Honestly, backstab rarely happen in the top pvp'er, its because we don't give that opportunity to be backstab.
I avoid the backstab to see me character after rolling twice teleport back to the same spot being backstabbed. I hate it because of my lag when I avoid it it's not the case, that is why I don't do it to others because it is cheap in the way that lag supports the backstabber.
I hear you loud and clear here bro it also gets on my t1ts when this happens to me,usaly when I am fighting someone over seas and the ping is above 50.
