Infuriating Situation

Today i was Pvping at Sen's when i invaded the world of a guy in full stone set with a eagle shield and the dragon tooth, well i was fighting with him at the first room of sens (the one with 4 pillars), i dont know what he was trying to do but he just defended the hoooole fight and when he was finally dying he puts hes back against a pillar and drink hes estus... he summoned to phantos while we where fighting, but i managed to BS then before they could gank me... when the guy tryed the first swing with the dragons tooth i rolled bs him and 1hko him (+5 light winged spear + hornet ring) i know that was cheap, but i really doesnt want to stay another 15min fighting this guy :x

Send him a message conveying that you feel he is a gentleman and a scholar; then proceed to tell him about your day.

I don't really see much of a problem. You were the invasor, right? I know it feels infuriating, but Dark Souls is made out of sheer grief.

invaders sure do have it tough. this forum has softened me and now I just wanna give invaders a big hug and tell them itll be okay.

Should have parried him! It's very rewarding to fight someone overly defensive, take all their options away, then when they finally try and attack you... parry their first hit! Dragon Tooth would have been great for that.

You were using the HR, a +5 lightning weapon, and were invading Sens? It sounds suspiciously like griefing to me :suspect:
If that's the case it doesn't really sound like you have it that tough to be honest.

Get a shotel or bleed weapon.

Or use pyromancy if they have the Eagle shield. Honestly, I love turtlers. At least, bad ones who spam attacks. I just need to attack them after they attack a bit, then they'll flail around haha! Or I'll parry them. But if they just keep on defending, dead angle. Or just keep attacking until they run out of stam.

Um, the guy he was fighting used the dragons tooth one handed. A weapon found in anor londo you need 40 str to wield. On top of that they had the stone set on. This obviously took place around SL 120.

Need I remind you both the bb and giftwraiths exsist? Equip weight is fairly easy to bump enough for a al 60ish character to pull that off, and bumping end for armor is exactly the kind of thing a newer (ie doesn't pvp much, 2nd maybe third playthrough) player would do.

hen swap weapons and dead angle. You were using a spear, I'd turtle too, especially with a heavy weapon like the dragon tooth.

So he BBed over a dragons tooth and had 40 str, with enough end for the armour. We dont know his roll speed but how about we wait till the guy tells us the SL before we call him a griefer?

Vitality is usually upgraded as a newer player instead of endurance. In my experiance. I didnt start focusing in end until my 4th real toon.

I didn't call him anything, I said, and I quote "color me dubious" which is an indication that I do not possess all the information and so have doubts. Hardly an accusation.

1. It wasnt entirely directed at you.
2. By saying that statement with the included quote you grouped yourself into that persons statement, saying you had suspicions that person was correct, and you suspected the OPs story.

well, i started the fight with a +5 velkas rapier, but when i saw he wasnt fight back i changed for the +5 light spear =/ i dont know if he had a lot of life because 1 BS (1100 +/-) killed him, but i was wearing a 0 poise armor with no shield
