I am getting to drop my Uchigatana +10 fire to +10 regular and upgrading it to +15 regular, but I keep seeing people rave about the BSS. Is it better to use than the Uchi at +15 regular with 46 DEX?

The Balder Side Sword is best dex weapon if you have 40 dex and the Leo Ring equiped. It's R2 attack can hit 600-700 damage unbuffed easily.

they are both very good weapons. i think it comes down to which move-set your prefer. the r1 on the bss is a wide, sweeping swing while the uchi is a downwards cut. the uchi's r1 covers less area but is more powerful, but the bss r2 thrust seems quicker to me that the uchi's.

Its all about using the R2 and then every now and then R2 twice in succession. The 2nd one is much quicker and catches alot of people if you miss the first. To be honest, I got sick of it pretty quickly because it made PVP a little bit too easy

It's just a Dex scaling SS with a bit less power but a fast speed and a good moveset. I wouldn't go above your 46 Dex though, there's practically no benefit from it.

^^I wouldn't go over 40 Dex. Your AR will barely increase above 40 (maybe 1 AR per level). It is even less of an increase once you take armor defense into account. The only reason to go above 40 is for spell casting. Then, 45 should be your max.

Yeah, I didn't know about that for until after I had already leveled it to 46. I'm working on everything else right now.
