PVP Tournament PS3 -Samurai // Ninja - THIS WEEKEND

Thanks for the warm welcome rooster.
I believe i am going to change it up and go with a ninja, the use of the DWGR with 0 poise is very cool because it is the way that i believe from wished for the ring to be used in the first place. Lets see, i-frame ring vs poise.

Can you clarify for me if this would be an acceptable ninja build? If not then I may look into properly doing a samurai..... but this Kirito cosplay would be cool to try out so.....

That's a samurai by the way. A light armored one.

Looks deadly, is 24 poise enough to avoid stunlock on katana? I would assume that would be the number that samurais should aim for

31poise 2h, and 21poise 1h. I think, i might have remembered wrong.

Yeah 21 poise to tank 1 hit from 1 handed katana, scythe, spear, curved sword. I wpuld prefer 31 poise for 2 handed hits.

@ Viral, the first build is more a Samuria than a ninja..... Ninja cant use wolf ring or use armor other than light armor (therefor no poise whatsoever) and only certain spells, not including power within. Samuria can use any armor and any ring, except the dwgr and only power within. (check out the revamped OP ).

Sooo effectively your build is pretty much a Samuria . I would try to add some poise somewhere if possible.... And Yes you can use a dual katana build if you want to (was hoping someone would try it, Ive been considering it )

Only ONE problem. They keep giving me ideas and I cant decide how to make my build! lol. I will stick with my practice toon for a while and see what I like for sure....eventually

In my opinion the bkh looks the most like a naginata and the sks looks identical to a yari both of wich are samurai weapons. btw I have an awesome sl 120 samurai build in my sig and unfortunently I cannot join unless Im at my sisters when the tourny takes place I have no internet.
