PvP at lower levels

So, you guys tell me. Will I get a fair bit of action at SL50-75? I'm thinking of Anor Londo/Darkroot mostly. If not, I guess I'll keep on trucking with my SL175 build.

I guess things would be a little more varied in lower levels.

you would get a little more action but at the cost of lower stats in my opinion it would be better to stay with your 175

If I were you i'd make a SL80 character around they're you can constantly get pvp and there's more variation in builds.

Depends on where you go. Catacombs is great around 50-60. Demon Ruins is around 70-80, and my personal favorite. For the hot spots, you're better off at 120-125. In the Forest, crank it.

As long as I stay inside the Forest Hunter Covenant, I can invade at any SL, right? I think I'd go to SL250 if that's the case.

Last time i played it didnt seem like anyone was caping at 120 in burg, it made invading annoying. I invaded this one guy with my sl100 build, he buffed his katana with CMW and almost 1shot me( i had 1800hp) he then hit me with a wrath of god that killed me but calculated 500+dmg. I sent him a msg saying "you think you might be a bit overleved for burg duels?" and he sent back "lvl 334?". That dragon head glitch allowing players to get infinite souls again easier is kinda ruining the whole lvl cap. Hosts seem to always go way above 120 and just never invade, i find that to be annoying. I know no matter what the hp cant go over a certain number, but they do so much dmg its just stupid(especially with buffed weapons, 99int and 99dex CMW katanas.....)

I get almost constant action as a SL 55 DW in Anor Londo. 80 is generally the next cap for the kiln and the Lord Areas, though those vary greatly.

What Ghad said. At SL 55, I got continuous action when invading. 80 seems a good all around level. Forest = any SL. If you want to keep the SL cap at 120-125, then you can host the burg.

I have SL68 and 70 characters that invade exclusively in Lost Izalith. There is non-stop action there, it's so much fun. Especially if you bring chameleon! I rarely get a failed invasion and that's during the later hours of the night.

Sl 55: catacombs, anor londo, dark anor londo, new londo ruins, demons ruins, moonlight forest, sens fortress, even depths you can invade

off topic, its funny when I'm hosting in the forest and two hunters invade me. One is with full black gold hemmed set and drake sword, and the other with full giants, washing pole with sunlight blade and spamming CSS

Nice to hear the 50s are a good invading range. I mean, I like my SL175, but I feel like I'm invading way too infrequently. Like, two or three invasions per half an hour. And that's in the Forest.

Is Soul Level 100 used anywhere? I like big, round numbers like 50, 100 and 150.

I would say the most common lvl caps people set for themselves are 10,30,55,80,100,120. After that you are dealing with the people who just keep lvling up, i think theres a sl225 FC. So im guessing 225 might be a range a lot of people enjoy, i personally dont like going over 120-125.

If you're on psn, the forest has been rather dead. Mainly because most of the people who play there are glitch abusing gankers. So i think a lot of players just dont pvp there much anymore. I have not been pvping nearly as much lately though, things change.

SL 120 gives me a duel every 20 secs after the previous in the kiln. slow days about 30 seconds. but i also had the forest hunter ring so. i was always killing.

I invade at SL80 in the Tomb, and it is continuous.

I also invade at Anor at SL50 and it is nearly continuous as well.
