how more off topic could you get.

so i only need 4 more trophies to platinum. ninja,hack the mov, eureka, and for the republic. the only one i am really worried about it the hacking one. i don't know where i can even find 25 terminals :/

so my tags are survival, science, i don't even remember maybe repair or speech. my st 7 per 7 end 6 char 5 int 9 agi7 luck7 i am on lvl 14 and have put no points into any weapons skills they are all around 20. anyway that's my char basically.

so here is the part where i beg for help. everything i have killed thus far has been with a katana or machete. haven't gotten ninja yet, and i really think i should have pinged that trof by now. i mean they are melee weapons. secondly if anyone knows off the top of there heads where i can find some unsuspecting terminals to hack please let me know

My only experience with the Fallout series of games was back in '08/'09 when my roommate bought Fallout 3.

I had a blast, the perks, the followers (this one giant yellow troll dude with a mini-gun was my favorite), the different dialogue choices (I don't know but despite Skyrim being the newer Bethesda game Fallout seemed to have more variety), and the world was just a ton of fun to explore.

My only complaints were the V.A.T.S. targeting system and the lack of, to me, replay value.

I still haven't even completed New Vegas. I'm stuck at the slideshow of the battle of Hoover Dam. The framerate drops to like 1. It's horrible. Makes the battle unplayable.

First of all, get rid of your luck. Melee weapons will almost never crit, unarmed is what crits. So, with Melee weapons you'll just want to get rid of that luck and go straight up strength, and get heavy handed. If you are looking for build advice that is. Luck is useful mainly for Gun, and Unarmed players. I think you must already know that charisma is useless, so if you are making a new character get rid of that. For melee characters the most important stats are End, Str, and Int. Anything else is just a bonus, like Agility. Luck, Perception, Charisma, no use to you at all.

Ill have a look in the Vault now for some terminal heavy zones

On a totally unrelated note

I looked at your build and personally im in the low INT value camp. You dont need to master too many skills per playthrough and give you have about 40+ levels to build with you really shouldnt need more the 13-15 skill points per level..... given you can earn about 15-18 points just by reading skill books.

So my normal build is something like 5 Str 6Per 7-8 End Charisma 3 Int6 Agl6 L6

This way you can get between 3-4 implants, weapon handling up to STR 8 which is good enough for me (seeing as im a Small guns man), have all the critical boosting perks I need, all the CQC and SMG perks I need.

With TAGS of Sneak, Melee Weapons, and Survival you can do some really nasty stealth killing early on while developing your small guns for late game. And for you door opening and weapons skill just sub in Science and energy weapons skills.

As for terminals you can find heaps in the Big Mountain DLC and in any industrial areas of New Vegas.

Viral never make your charisma over 1! It's the most useless SPECIAL in the game, with Int you will easily get however much barter or speech you could want.

Yeah I dont really remember all of my builds but I remember that charisma was lowish but I never reall needed stats over what I put forwards before beecause i liked speech

By the way, Sneak Unarmed Luck Agility toons, hit really hard. REALLY HARD.

Yes yes they do.... especially when equipped with a Bowie Knife, a 50mm Submachine gun, and a solid load of .45 slugs out of the Light in the Dark

No, because it is an unarmed toon that uses Crits. They would want some sort of powerfist.

Then why can I one shot Deathclaw Alpha Males with them on the hardest setting? Mad crits bro!

You won't kill them in one hit with a melee weapon, you have to genuinely fight them. If you strafe well you won't ever even be hit by a Deathclaw. You'll need 9 strength, as well you'll probably want 9 endurance, agility couldn't hurt either. Basically, Melee, you need to be a tank. Unarmed, you are better as an assassin.

But Unarmed looks so lame..... Id rather have a katana or Bowie Knife on me anyday

i am not using a fist weapon i just can't im trying to kill some death claws and they are treating me like darksouls i need to dev one weapon skill :/

I can take him with a Katana. Otherwise I go all Lonesome Road on everyones *** and grab my trust Duster and 50mm SMG

Go into it with a set capacity of bullets and supplies. Its more survivalistic that way an one of the best Fallout experiences ever.

Gimme your weapons an Ill throw down a limit on what you can and cant take.

Limit 3 weapons

One set of clothing armour

and one set of combat/ heavy armour

15 dirty waters

2 caravan lunches

4 brahmin steaks

3 gecko steaks

3 rad x

4 radaway

3 of any 2 drugs

antio poison gear.

then pick up what you find from there.

Scavenger on the lonesome road.

For armours i reccommend something ragged and with poor defence that forces you to upgrade while in the divide.
