Welcome to the forum Hippy
You can make your build here and then show it to us, then we can try to improve it.

Why SL 99?
Would that be for the LH arena? Because the DLC bracket is up to SL 100. Just, FYI.

That's the best i could come up with. The armor definitely doesn't match. But you'll hit like a truck with the 2h roll attack.
Making a str/faith hybrid is hard because the str weapons weigh so much.

Definitely dex, since you get more out of the buffs and the weapons are lighter.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
But with STR you can get things like GMB, and that'll allow you to wall any mages. You can also get Karmic Justice and turn back all the damage you take back on your attacker.
Note, this is a tank character I'm talking about. Heavy armor/lots of life/big strong weapon.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
If you do want DEX, and I read you don't want katanas/rapiers, probably means you don't want the BSS either.
So, I'd suggest something like the PGS.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
I just forgot something, you need 40 dex for the dex weapons to be at their best. On the other hand, you can just 2h the str weapons
But in the end, dex is still the better option.
And ii really depends on you preference. some good buffable dex weapons are : balder side sword, estoc, great scythe, flamberge, falchion and uchi/laito.

Yeah, 35 DEX minimum, I would say, great for casters because they can get 45 DEX.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
I assume that you're talking about the great scythe/Lifehunt scythe.
The running attacks and the r2 are what you should use. They hit like a truck, but don't do much poise damage from my experience.
The Lifehunt can't be buffed and it's a lot shorter than the GS, but it does a lot more bleed damage (i still prefer the GS). Some people say that they're easy to deadangle with, but i can't really do it with them.
They also take a lot of stamina, so you should use grass with them, and watch your stamina a lot.
Be careful about people trying to parry you, since they're easy to parry. I usually lock of and aim manually when i do the running attack, that makes them harder to parry. It's also a really good tactic if someone uses a bow. You just lock of and zigzag to them.
It might take some time to get good with them though.
Can't really think of anything else right now.

I don't mind helping others
Do you want it to be pure dex? Or do you want some faith or pyro in it?

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
Here is a dex build with some pyro in it. I chose the great scythe because i think it's better, and the falchion is just there as a backup weapon.

Re: Priscilla's Lifehunters 5th Thread
If you don't like the GS then you can switch to almost any dex weapon except for the great curved swords.
Maybe you should change the str to 16? That way you can use the Lifehunt scythe and the flamberge one handed. I didn't think of this when i made the build
