1 hit kills wtf

2,450 vitality and I still get one hit back stabbed, does any1 else feel this is a joke? Guy in dragon gear and he was two handing a bow, he they ran at me and teleported to behind my back and 1 hit all off health instantly, this scum back had hidden behind the big *** guards in anor londo for the previous 5mins. How can I survive these one hits, I can avoid most back stabs usually but ever since I got to level 120 I keep getting stabbed in the back when the guys is in front on me and all me health vanishing. What weapons are these guys using, I know they are casting power within but why Am I dying from one hit? Can any amount of vitality save me?

That bow backstab is a glitch. I think it's always an insta-kill.

Yeah I heard somewhere that it had potential to do over 9000 damage.

No, but seriously it hits like a ton of Smough.

I'm pretty sure the bow backstab does somewhere around 30,000 damage so I don't think any amount of health will be able to save you :|

This is an extreme example, but it shows what I mean

if you think about it did more damege since it only hit once and then he died like a how a mace does like 10 damege then like 100 (eaxample)

Alway fatal. 100% of the time. If you see a dragon with a bow, expect it. If you see anyone with a greataxe (regular), expect it. They might not try, but its best to be prepared, because if they bs you then you will die.

Yep, glitchers hitting you for more health than you can have. Max health without modding, they'll still kill you.

Omg I can't believe that, how is that possible? I wondered wtf is this guy doing 2 handing a bow but I guess this glitch explains a lot, I think if i see a dragon with a bow im diving off a cliff edge. Thanks yall for that info. Scummy glitchers I h8 them so.

Huh...I never knew the damage could be this broken with the Dragon Torso. I mean, I backstabed some invader with a bow before but damage was pretty... meh.

The game does the math in the wrong order, and forgets to omit the bow. Dragons get a huge multiplier to their fist damage (fists have 18 AR) . For some reason, the game counts the bow as their fist and applies the multiplier to the bow.

Actually...
With a modded save file, the maximum HP is 67,900... or around there.
A dragon bow glitcher can kill them in 2 backstabs. I seent it.

Yeah always instant death. They really only have one attack though so use the counter backstab and try to keep them at distance for your attacks.

well … back stabs are shortened to BS for a reason
