Oh how sad is this. No longer a role playing covenant.

    sad

    Edit:

Specially the black iron and golem sets.

I'm sad. I joined specifically for the entire BK/SK roleplaying thing. Why are so many covs changing what makes them great recently; first the Lifehunters and now POLG....sad

I do not mind the idea of a different set but correct me if I am wrong golems and black iron have nothing to do with gwyn.

I could see the addition of the giants armor set since they are in anor londo protecting gwyn.

I don't know if we even need a light build.

Well the golem was a guardian of the path to Anor Londo....

Perhaps we could add in specializations in which we emulate one of Gwyn's 4 knights instead of this. That would add some variety if thats what you want and it would still keep to the rp aspect I so love.

Artorias, Ornstein, Gough, and Ciaran. The knights each have a corresponding ring that labels them as one of the four knights.

    @Crusader,

I actually think that is a really good idea. POLG should include those. So at least we can have 1 now (Orenstein) and Artorias later. Maybe we can have the other two if they are part of the DLC~~~!!!

Ornstein we already have. Artorias we have his sword and shield and we know the armor will be released. Gough is in the dlc as well I believe so his gear is likely in it too though the DS Greatbow and Hawk Ring along with some good light and medium armor would be reasonable for emulating him. Ciaran will be the trickiest one as we only have her ring. However we know she used daggers so perhaps Hornet Ring, Bandit Knife, and Parrying Dagger with some appropriate light armor.

Sounds cool guys I just like to kill stuff so let me know what to wear while doing it!

Might I suggest diff armours for diff ranks with BK being the highest or whatever!

Update Brienne and Berric are SL 50 at Anor and having some jolly coop...now the fun begins twisted

well I received a few complaints about their not being a light armor set but as I get what everyone here is say it makes lose our originality so they will not be official sets and I will only grant them to members whose build requires light moment same for the heavy set

IMO, frankly your original idea is flawless. If we allow the formula to water down by deviating from your original idea I think would be bad. Now building on the idea like it was suggested by Sunlight would actually be really cool. But that is just my 2 cents.

Maybe a poll would shed more light as to how many would like deviations ( at least that is how I look at them) from the POLG original idea.

If you want to allow light armor how about Gwyn's set?

And as far as deviations, I'm not opposed to adding more Cosplay options as long as we stick to cosplaya

I was thinking the same thing as Federally, just allow a full Gwyn for light builds. I think it is perfectly fine for Gwyn to defend himself that lazy bum!!
