Thorn armor is one of my favorite medium dark themed armors. I always wanted to wear it but I could not find a matching armor combo. I love my Xanthous Crown but I feel that Gwyn's crown or a Sack/Hollow Thief's Hood could look better. Any ideas are welcomed.

I also wanted to try Flash Sweat for the first time in PvP.

Xanthous Crown definitely doesn't match , Gwyn's crown could look tight, however.

I don't want to show the face, it must have a mysterious/deadly appearance.

How bout changing the leggings to Giants... Might match with the crown thn...
U could also change the crown and leggings to Paladins...

Flash Sweat is a great spell against fire. I have a low level pyromancer...30... and I'm wearing +6 pyro gear. Anytime I face another pyromancer, I just put on flash sweat and pretty much ignore their spells as I slice them up with my falchion. 99 humanity helps as well.

Sunlight maggot. Or chanellers' helm (if you use it, you can change your golem leggings to the black iron ones).

I really wish there were more "velka" miracles. Maybe DLC will have a few additions. I was thinking of doing a velka themed build.

Me too man, hopefully the DLC will bring a new school of dark magic.

I like the way the dark helm looks with Armor of Thorns... and what are your hands doing? I can't cast pyromancy with my left hand it feels weird.

Maybe add a darkhand, it's not the best but it can pretend to block and it's fine for parries.

I think an entire fourth branch of magic is a big hope, how would it scale? Item only? Int? Fai? Res? (ohhohoho using Res as a scaling stat would be both suprising and add variety) If it just scales with it's item than it's pyro 2.0 and everyone should use it, if it scales with either Int or Fai it's just going to compete for slots against existing sorcery/miracle casts. Beatrice has a catalyst, perhaps between learning how to venture into the abyss and actually going there she discovered sorcery that Oolacile/Vinheim had either forgotten, banned due to its dark nature or simply never learned. Honestly my bets on this.

I have a feeling it might be item dependent like pyro to balance things. And LOL I love to wield the pyro on the left hand.

Thoughts on Dark Helm? Or maybe the Shadow set hat?

Dark Helm looks cool, but funny sometimes. I think I may opt for a hood or a sack....

the sack looks funny, it's impossible to not laugh at it.

I have a character who looks bad *** with his sack xD laughing in fear of his bad assness maybe....
