so tired of laggy players..

i'm tired, a little drunk and getting annoyed at some of these japanese players backstabbing me one and a half rolls away or in some illogical manner, like yesterday when one was laying on the ground and i got backstabbed by him.. seriously i'm tired of it and it's getting on my nerves.

what time zones should i be avoiding so i don't have to play with them anymore?

where do most of the na players go to duel?

just fed up with it. idk why the hell from didn't have localized versions like they did for demon's souls, or at least have certain versions play together... oh wait, that's right bando nam whatever didn't buy any dedicated servers because they're not atlus. derp.

i get some extreme lagstabs man. it just pisses me off when i feel like i'd of won the fight hadn't it happened.

true story. i went over to the door in the archer tower to see if the fog gate was even there and i was getting backstabbed as it said the player has invaded. he just appeared out of the ground behind me stabbing me.

By the way Mildred where were you for the past like 2 months?

I'm asking because I see some guys with very high speeds and they get lots of laggy guys. My internet is very slow (2 MB max) and I rarely get laggy guys, well the usual lag of PvP but that's normal I think.

yeah i don't mind NORMAL lag. like i roll away as the guy is behind me and bounce back before my hands touch the ground.

that's fine.

i get like.. 2 rolls away, a come at me bro emote and an item swap in my menu to a teleport back to a backstab with japanese/korean/whatever players.

that or they can now teleport.

Back on topic. Yes rifter lag can suck, but we all know it's there and we all have to deal with it, so I don't see the need for every second person and their dog to post about it. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but I really am sick of all the negative lag posts.... I bet you get as many wins from lag as you get loses, just you don't notice it and it's the other guy crying.... Lets just hope he doesn't start his own thread.

Well when that happens it's no one's fault it's namcobandai's fault for not having dedicated servers and ping matchmaking or whatever it's called. When I'm a victim of heavy lag I just shrug and let him kill me.

yeah.. it just seems when and where i play has a huge majority of japanese players, and you saw the upload, download and ping numbers if you checked the speed test.

and obviously that can be better or much worse depending on the players..

where and when do the na players play? because i don't have any problems with connection vs them.

When I'm at FC I mostly get random NA players at moonpit. Mostly after 10:00 pm EST.

Lag happens on dedicated servers too. Not as much, granted, but it still does. In addition, servers have a rather hefty pricetag attached to them.

yeah cuz i just checked my recent played list, and out of 17 players today, 15 of them where japanese and 2 were american.

i don't remember it being this bad, but i've started playing at weird time zones recently and primarily in the burg.

If fromsoftware wasn't so f**** lazy they could pay them by giving us more DLCs!!!!!!

yeah that's true, but there was also localized copies for eu, na and asia. so even tho there was lag you'd still play with people relatively close.

i know there was still lag and players using different copies of the game, but i dont remember it being comparable to what i've been experiencing over the past few days since i've started playing at night.

Microsoft takes a good chunk of profits from DLC, and I'm sure Sony doesn't let them publish them for free. Add in the fact that designing the game to use dedicated servers would be the responsibility of From and running the servers would (apparently) have fallen on Namco, it's no wonder to see why they don't use them.

i just want to put this back on topic really quick, when should i be playing to get the most na players and where should i be pvping to avoid .. whatever i'm just going to say it, japanese players. (i don't mind them personally, they just lag heavily for me.)

and here's to hoping the new dlc lets us take more control over who we duel.

on xbox its like second heaven, everyone is from na or uk, and i connect pretty well to uk.

Try hosting in the Kiln at night too.

2 MB isn't that bad. I get a little more than 1 MB and i'm fine
