[spoiler]...........Chester

After accidentialy seeing the pure awesome that is Chester I would like to request any and all information about him and his gear from you pc players. Also if anyone of you has pics please share them with me.

that might be the coolest looking armor in the game..... must calculate weight...

EDIT: it weighs more then my Wanderer set and would take my SL99 build over 25% burden and has worse defenses across the board.

Hmm sounds like its not that good, but im gonna use it anyway or atleast im gonna use the hat and the coat for the classy awesomeness it brings.

Do you know if you can get his movement set somehow? Seems like he has a unique legsweep.

This is what I'm trying to figure out every night and day. That rapid fire with crossbow, sweepkick and bleeding roses he does are too swag not to be on the game.

Hmm... the long coat description. think wearing it in combo with some heavy armor pieces would mute the sound from the heavy armor?

Classy but useless.

heavy helm/gloves/legs dont make the noisem only chest pieces do. so yes the long coat will silence the sound, but so will every other light armor chest piece.

Really? I could have sworn havel gauntlets and legs did it. ah well my bad I guess.

nope, my current set up was Wanderer helm/wanderer chest, havels gloves and steel legs, didn't make the clunk sound

Mostly PvP stuff, all the bolts, large and normal arrows, mosses, 5 humanity. Nothing too great or unique.

He sells basic stuff like blossoms and moss, nothing special. People say though, that he has infinite amount of humanities for sale which is cool.

Damn i hoped he would sell his knives at some point.

Actually, it may be more than five, I didn't noticed I only had 50,000 souls, so I'm not sure. He doesn't sell them, and I don't think they are obtainable. I was really hoping for caltrops myself.

So far I've seen no way of getting his move set. Understand, he doesn't use a player model. He is like Cirian, they have special character models and animations.

I will wear that hat always.

Ummm....how is Ciaran a special character model? Chester is kinda obvious because he holds his hat while he runs and flies around, but I didn't remember Ciaran doing anything special.

What weapons does he use? It would be AWESOME to make a Trickster like character.

He uses sniper crossbow (but he can do rapid fire with it without loading) he also uses bleeding rose throwing knives (or kunais?).

And a kick move that's a low sweep, but his AI is terrible, as he just stands there and lets you heal.

One i thing i really like about the DLC, out of the many things, is the new helm look awesome. Chester's hat a top hat is always awesome and that grin and Artorias' has the plume to.

Why does Chester have a "V for Vendetta" mask on?

I would if I had one. Tis awesome, reason enough

I guess the question really is: Why is there a "V for Vendetta" mask in the game, at all? The hat is cool, but why is there a 80's comic book character's mask in the game? Is it supposed to look like the "Fat Official" enemies from Demon's Souls? I know the mask isn't EXACTLY the same, but it's close enough to draw a comparison.

And I have a feeling it's going to look like an Anonymous Rally in PVP come October, haha.

If you stand around a bonfire you'll see Artorias' and Chester's gear over and over and over. It's almost enough to make me change out of Chester's gear, lol. It's just too cool to finally have new armor choices, makes sense that we'll all be sporting combos of them for a while.
