Chaos Blade: a viable weapon?

I had a chaos blade build once.. SL120, used pyros a lot too which made it good.

50 vit
40 end
45 dex
4 att slots

It was fun, the chaos blade is a pretty heavy hitting weapon and the whole chaos blade and pyros felt like a fun character

Erm, I am basically following a similar build to what S_M has posted, except with greater END for me to fast roll in Eastern armour (I'm all RP) and less attunement slots. I have noticed it does a helluva lot of damage once you know how hit right. Keep enough pressure on and they bleed doing silly amounts of damage. AHAHa brilliant weapon!! (plus it's red )

looking at your build you'll need more end. 30 vit with a weapon that drains your health (even on phantom hits) isn't really viable- you'll want 40 MINIMUM

S_M, I guess you mean I need more VIT, not END (it's 57 END) I guess you're right... I often get three shotted stun locked by some great sword, I think zweihander, and when i get on low health I simply cannot use the CB any more for fear of killing myself

However some day when I get hold of some decent, lighter armour (chesters, procelein mask etc may not be good but I like them) I'm gonna be able to have a secondary weapon, I'm thinking PGS or Priscilla's.

Hrm, I can give it a go.. it always seems to munch up all my stamina and/or stagger me.. but you're right, I really need to learn to parry, I'm having huge trouble with it in PvP

oh??? *facepalms* thankyou!! I'll stick it on tomorrow. Is it actually possible to hit people with the dark hands humanity steal attack? I really want to, just it has such a long charge up time people don't stay still enough.
