So I have a startling confession:
I have been playing ICO since it was a free PS+ game and I had never had it previously. This is one of the heralded games from it's time so I was excited.

It sucks. There. I said it. The puzzles are pretty standard fare. The combat is boring and tedious. The story is nothing special. There's a lot of little concept details that are really cool. Like being able to make the princess go faster with hand holding. Some of the atmosphere stuff and designs are also really good. Conceptually it's a win. But playing the damn thing? I figure I'm about halfway in and that's more than the chance it deserved.

No I don't think she is really like that.. Just the fact she had the camera out for that.. And the way he was perfectly fine with it. And just his acting.. seemed a little off to me.

So I was in a 4 car wreck recently. The other 3 vehicles had to be towed; my vehicle didn't have a scratch on it. The impact my friend and I felt surely put us in disbelief.

Thankfully not. The most I've had to deal with is getting in touch with the insurers to state that I do not need to file a claim for damages. I wasn't in the wrong, so everyone I've talked to so far has made it pretty easy on me.

Have you guys heard of the XCOM series? I bought Enemy Unknown off Steam last night because it's on sale for practically nothing, and it's pretty awesome. I didn't think I'd ever find a new turn-based SRPG type game that I'd never heard of before again. I stand corrected.

Enemy Unknown is pretty great. I actually used to be in the top 50 of multiplayer before I stopped playing. I'm sure I'm not now though. I love the multiplayer of it.

I didn't even know there was multiplayer. I've only been playing for about 2ish hours total. I think I just finished the tutorial. It's incredible so far. It's range is just amazing. I feel like usually when games try to do a bunch of different things, as opposed to just sticking with one kind of main genre element, they tend to end up doing all of them badly, as opposed to just doing one thing really well. This game though, it does a bunch of different things, and does all of them really well. It caters to pretty much everything I enjoy about SRPG's, as well a few things I like about RTS's. I'm really impressed so far. There's a paper I should be writing right now, and the discovery of this game is just killing me. In case anyone else is interested it's on sale on Steam for $9 until Monday I think. The sale is all 2K games, so it's like the Borderland franchise, what looks like the entire XCOM franchise, including all the old ones for something like $1.50 a piece, and some other stuff.
