I'd like a ultra long range whip. There are only two of them and they kinda suck, but giving one really good range could make it viable for pvp.

I just wanted to make a comment about the new dragon. It looks just like Gurya from King's Field. Here is a video for comparison.

Pay close attention to the wings, coloration and the crystal on its forhead. If you look at pics of the new dragon, you will see quite a few similarities.

Ok, sorry is someone already said this, but I just had a flash looking at a loading screen.
The thing at 0.41 in the trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzSqBfPQIEk&feature=player_embedded#! ) couldn't be the beast that once attacked Astora?
If the new content is in the past, and if those are indeed eyes.. Here's the description from the ring of the evil eye:
"According to legend, this ring contains the spirit of the evil eye, a dark beast which assaulted Astora.
The strength of the evil eye does not waver, and HP is absorbed from fallen enemies."

Those things don't look like eyes to me. Blisters or thorns or pads or something, but not eyes.

They did to me too, then I actually paused and looked at it. Eyes were just what I expected to see.

Wow, I think he made it perfectly clear that they won't announce a DLC or Prepare to die edition for the consoles until they have a good amount of preorders on the pc versions.

I'm looking forward to the Death Hand boss fight as well as the Artorias fight. I'm curious about if it's gonna be requiring another character since this takes place in the past. Unless it does a time travel thing.

Apparently it's not confirmed for games for windows live, it's just a simple box art concept someone made. So it may be made for Steam so you may get it on Mac too if your lucky.

Here's hoping that Hawkeye can explain some more of the background. Seriously I would love to know why only Ornstein was the only Knight of the Four still remaining loyal to Gwyn.

Honestly my theory is that the "dark hand" takes u back in time to face Artorias. i mean... no way your fighting something that absorbes you. think of the serpents that take u to the abyss. or the one in the shrine. just think about it... theres a reason u never see artorias in dark souls. maybe he did die and you go back in time to stop him/help him. who knows :o

Happily, that new content appears to be very substantial. Uchiyama estimated that it should take a reasonably skilled player around 10 hours to get through the new areas.

What's more, it'll be fully integrated into the game rather than siphoned off from the main menu. Console gamers who buy it as DLC will be able to use their existing character, though they'll need to have progressed quite a way through the story before they can access the extra areas.

"We have three new venues, four new bosses and additional weapons," he explained.

"Accessing the new content is a little bit complicated. Depending on where you are in the storyline it may differ in terms of how it's integrated.

"There will be a certain point in the game that you'll have to surpass to access the new content. It won't be right from the beginning - the new content will be accessible more in the later half of the game."

It all sounds amazing, but I hope they don't rush it, which it sounds like they are. :/
