Chaos blade? Or better?

Is there better dex weapons than the chaos blade. I will be making a build with Lit. Uchi and another weapon. What should I use?

The Great Scythe.

There are no better weapons, you have to choose your weapon first and then make your build around it. It really depends on build and taste.

If you are planning a pure Dex build I always recommend a spear and a bow as back up.

Chaos blade is only best if you can't buff your weapon IMO. The great scythe, life hunt scythe and the great lord great sword are my favorite dex weapons.

So I was planning on dual weilding. And having a back up shield. Also I am skeptical on the Chaos Blade as it take damage per hit. But is it that bad?

Any suggestion on making the build better?

Try the flamberg

It seems strong, although is it fast? And is it good for PvP?

It's a gs, same speed as the clay. It's very good for pvp

The Flamberge is like a Bastard sword with less damage and bleed. It also has some weird r2's that I imagine could dead angle quite effectively, though I've never practiced.

this let's you use a good amount of gear,, still have enough poise to save you from fast weapons while still being fast enough to avoid great weapons. And best part is the bow will do over 200 damage with poison arrows, letting you poison enemies and make them think twice about getting close.

Pretty solid build. Although in my opinion looks also matter. And I don't think this will look good, but I haven't seem it yet. Is there a way to get better looking armor?

Sorry to Threadjack, but what is Deadangling?

It's when you fight unlocked, and move your character so he can land solid hits through shields.

Ohh really? I thought it was when you have a good moveset, to swing L to R and Up and down....

That's apart of it. Do to the way the shield detects a hit, you can trick it and land a full hit while they're shield is up by just hitting from your left or your right (or even behind you).

You don't have to be necessarily unlocked though, but it's more difficult to dead angle. The great scythe does this with its running attack and strong R2 attacks.

How to avoid dead angles: Don't block. I always dodge everything. With a well-timed dodge after their unsuccessful try to dead-angle you can easily BS him, or hit him with a long ranged weapon like a spear.

So, back to the post. The Great Sycthe is the best? Any katanas good? I really want to dual weild.

Hey Wyrm you seem to make very good builds. Can you try making the same one but cap it level 70-95? I like PvPing at that level, even though 120 is the unofficial.

Play with the armor and rings and weapons, but the stats shouldn't change at all, it lets you maximize dex gear, while giving you the chance to use some of the better great swords.
