Chaos blade? Or better?

uThe Great Scythe's tricky to use, though it can do amazing things in the right hands. I would practice and learn the timing and range before you use it in PvP.

It's why I said play with the armor and rings. The stats are ideal because they give you a huge variety to play with. I personally prefer going wolf and dark wood grain ring. Keeps me extremely light for weapons.

Yeah I had Fed parrying me all over the place.... then billy owning me..... now niether of them pose much of a challenge! LOL But its range is good and its damage capacity is off of the charts!

I'll 3rd that, I'm trying to use the Great Scythe, difficult to master, nearly always lose against a Great Scythe user.

The Chaos Blade is very easy to use, (the r2 is useless) it deals good damage with good reach, an awesome weapon and uber cool. The damage you take is very small and forces you to fight smart. One of my favourite weapons you could make room for both, you only need 2 extra points on str for the CB.

There are no better weapons, you have to choose your weapon first and then make your build around it. It really depends on build and taste.

The GS is just a lot of fun to use also!

With no buff +15 and nothing but 40 DEX a running 2hand R1...followed by 2 R2's(need fap ring) is all but a OHKO!!

Lol I messed around with a dragon body on my bss/scythe build tonight...it was hilarious I was using RTSR/leo ring with scythe and BSS...I buffed gold pine on the scythe and did 850 dmg with a single roar 2hand R2 with RTSR...and did a roar with a leo counter for 900 + dmg...it was a lot of fun!!

Edit oh I did a roar RTSR fire arrow with my composite bow that did 500 dmg lol

So then my final question would this be a good build?

Lit. Uchi

Chaos Murakumo
And for Backup Zweihander fire

Don't go elemental with your bow. Despite what people say, with your stats a +15 with large arrows will do MUCH better, and you'll get more damage out of poison arrows too. In fact most of your gear shouldn't be elemental, with the exception probably being the zwei.

What eki says, all your weapons should be normal +15. If you can, practice menu swap the Chaos Blade for the Great Scythe so that you don't fat roll.

I really like the Lifehunt Scythe, sure it's less effective than the Great, but it's fun as hell to fight with, I have a blast everytime I invade using it. I don't even need to dead angle turtles, I bleed them to death. I feel so evil watching them panic as their meter fills up, then one final dead angle to push it over the top, bam, 1000 health gone at least.

Ya man with 40 dex and 28 str ditch those elemental weapons...you really wanna avoid going elemental because it breaks the damage up...+15 will deal pure physical!!

A weapons AR doesn't tell the whole story with my 40/40 build my rapier only stats out to 349 at +15 and the chaos +5 is 411...but the reg +15 will actually do 20 or so more dmg than the chaos!!

Why all the weapons man? I've never seen someone try to use so many lol

He's trying to mimic me, that's why. I've a list of gear just for my 99 that I switch between regularly.

Actually Wyrm gave me the build. I just listened to you guys on what to add. SO should I go Basic +15 Great Scythe, Lit. Uchi, Fire Zwei. Should I have a +15 or Chaos Marukumo?

I'm using all these weapons, but I will just switch around, just for fun.
This is my first PvP build, so I just want to have fun!

Also are Lit. Avlyns good? I want it on my PvE toon. It seems cool.

With 40 I would go +15 regular great scythe/Uchi/Mura and do a chaos +5 Zwei....chaos is always better than fire tho no?

Or is the Zwei different I'm not a big Zwei guy?

With 28/40 reg is best and chaos is only better for crits me thinks.

With 28/40, 2 handing the Zweih will deal max AR with normal +15, thus dealing more damage than elemental Zweih. Pratix in the build I recommended to you your weapons are elemental but I have very low Dex (minimum requirements). I did this so that you get more HP/End while still doing good damage.

Well that's all I was getting at also Wyrm don't drop 40 into DEX the use an elemental weapon lol!!

I am going to do a elemental titan BSS/GS build 14 dex 14 str 70 vit 70 end(give or take)...OP that's the kind of build you wanna use elemental weapons in!!
