Nice guys, 100 sigs in a matter of a day and a half of just bringing it up in forums is a pretty good start.

@ICEFANG: i was thinking the same thing, or more so that is what their excuse would be. We know that the content will be ready for consoles by Oct 25th though, so asking for it by then seems fair. Theres no way it takes 2 months after the Japan release to get it on psn/xbl in the rest of the world. Plus like tolvo said, the pc version is a port. A port of the 360 version it seems like, which is a port of the ps3 version. I'm pretty certain everything is already done, and could be out right now. I understand they wanted to sell some copys, and thats why i don't mind waiting a month or two. Four months however is stretching it too far.

I don't know what they will do, cause if they change it to Oct25th release then the people who got the PC version and already owned the console version kind of get the shaft. You are someone who got the pc version, i think, would you feel ripped off by that? I would think you were probably prepared to buy both in the first place, like other console/pc players. Thats why i hope that everyone supports this, not just the people waiting. Whats the harm in the consoles getting to join in on the fun a couple months sooner, right?

I signed as well. As much as I love the game, I will not be buying it again. I don't even think I can play Dark Souls on my computer.

125 signed! Thanks guys, cause i know we didn't get even close to that many just from what ive been doing. I really want remain optimistic, but unless the numbers jump dramatically in the next two weeks i don't see this working. No matter what happens i will send it to Namco Bandai, if we get ignored i highly suggest that you buy all Namco Bandai games used from now on. You got to speak with your wallet, unless you want all publishers to turn into EA. That's what some people don't seem to get, i have seriously been called an "entitled elitist" almost ten or more times. Its like they had that insult prepared for something else, cause i don't even understand how that makes any sense.....

The thing about it that bothers me the most is that i think From is feeling the same way..."why are you doing this to our fans?" Im pretty sure one of them said something along the lines of "I feel sorry for console gamers" a month or two ago...

I could try putting this on a facebook page I admin. We have like 2800 likes I think so we may get some support. What do you think?

Also does anyone know which channels were used to get the petition through prior to this one? Myabe making use of those will get us some more attention?

I'm not sure what you mean by, who they went through. Any way of getting it out to more people is good, i wouldn't hold back. I do feel like we are going to be ignored by even some console owners. Yeah, we're definitely going to need to up the anti! I think 10,000 sigs is probably a little optimistic at this point, unless a couple of the YT'ers get behind it (though it shouldn't be because I'm sure there are many times more annoyed PS3/Xbox users out there!). What date have you set to send the petition off, fruit? Or are you just going to see how it goes?

I'm going to start posting this around on anything Dark Souls related. Is there any news on getting it put on the Wiki?

P.S - Does anyone have any sway on GameFaqs? Getting it stickied there would also help I would imagine.

I got a few positive responses on Gamefaqs, and a few people said they signed. Its going to be VERY difficult to get 10k sigs, and even if we do it might not even get looked at. I'm just seeing how it goes. We really need an OFFICIAL release date from Namco Bandai. A lot of people think the release is Oct 25th. Which i can see why they wouldnt really mind waiting 2 months, i would not either. At this point im over the fact i have to wait, its just the fact that Namco Bandai is being really sleazy. I want them to know we are not pleased , i suggest you all just don't buy namco bandai games new from now on. Thats really the most we can do.

I'm trying to spread to my non-gaming connections, to see if we can attract a different type of supporter. Most don't want to sign because they think I'm trying to sell them something/don't get what the petition's about. :|

Hi all, I'm new to this forum but I've been following many of the threads here for some time. I do have a question, I keep seeing everyone say the DLC for the consoles will be out in Dec. Does anyone have any confirmation of this or is this just speculation about the 'winter' release announcement?

Well it seems like its now going to be released in october on the 25th.

Where the hell is the offcial Namco Bandai announcement? This seems to odd, although oct,26th sounds great to me.

If they don't announce something by the end of the week, im going to have to say that this is most likely a mistake by the website.. It really irks me how shady namco bandai has been being with this. I would love for them to release it earlier, but it is clear they are withholding that info so more console owners opt for buying the PC edition. I don't mind spending money to support a developer and game i love, but theres a point where it is too much even if i can afford it.
