Yes I would the comment I just made to reim in no way had anything to do with that particular person....nor was it a rude inflamatory comment toward him....it was a statement of the general 'that's not MY honor code' or 'jump down your throat for doing anything different from what everyone else I'd doing' mentality that a lot of people on this forum have!

To be fair, that is common among any group of people. They tend to develop their own "meta" and ways of doing things. And, if it were any other place but the forest, spamming DBs is in poor form (IMO - with a few exceptions). Like I said, the forest is just misunderstood.

And, BTW, it wasn't just your thread I was responding to. There have been several threads recently about the forest as well. The forest is just not for everyone.

Ya I agree for sure the way I behave in the forest doesn't reflect how I behave elsewere...I just go there to let loose!!

I just seems like there's been a lot of threads about people being frusterated by the way people behave in the forest...I just don't understand why they wouldn't expect the type of behaviour they encounter and have fun adapt and over come or simply leave!

TBH, it took me a long time to feel this way. I tried going over to the forest 2 times previous. I got so frustrated, I vowed never to go back. Then, I did go back. Same thing. I hated it. Everything was so opposite from what I was used to. But, the third time, it stuck. Huge mindset change was required though.

But, dayum, it's fun.

I hated the forest as well at first, but came to have a deep appreciation for it as the counter-culture to the meta. For some reason, as much as I enjoy the meta, I always have been frustrated at its attempt to impose order on a chaotic format. The forest still isn't how From intended pvp but it is the pendulum swung in the exact other direction which makes it an interesting and fun wild west.

And I'm the one guy trying to bring the law and common decency to the west. Haha.

Sadly my character never gets played by Clint Eastwood.

Ugh. Rough night in the forest. The lagstabs were everywhere. I got counter BS and I don't know how. I didn't see the tell tale movement. I also got BS on my second flip backward from that opponent. It was slow, and I only invaded 2 or 3 different people.

Frustrating night.

I just laughed Amos cuz from seeing some of your videos(I am a sub on your youtube btw) I knew you wanted to BS him to get him off your back so you could get RTSR out lol!!!

Its funny cuz I do the same thing on that toon from my forest video....I run wolf/hornets then equip swap wolf for RTSR when my HP is low...do you people have any idea what a hornets/RTSR parry does for dmg.....anyones life bar lol!!!

Also being abit drunk is not excuse Amos...when I did my parry montage video I was loaded and I think it actually helped...I didn't 2nd guess anything just went for it lol :drunken:

@Dan - no I haven't - is it a electonic or hardcopy issue? Do you have subscription or something. I know the Bleach series has ended for good supposedly so I have been very depressed. Kenpachi is the sh#& - the only other character I like is Ikkaku his 2nd in command (his bankai is crazy OP).

I do have a question - is there any way to get the DWGR without getting your name placed in the BOG? I have started a STR-based GL and I want to get the ring without trading for it but I DO NOT want to get listed in the BoG in order not to have to deal with constant DM invasions (DMs who invade as SoVs don't give EoDs when you kill them) when I gravelord. If I join the FH murder Shiva's bodyguard (I know, I know we shouldn't be talking about such dreadful things) it does not appear absolving my sins will remove my name from the BoG.

Please give old Broke some advice on this.

Both of y'all are beasts when it comes to ring swapping while fighting for your life. I am going to have learn that trick - I see y'all both keep minimum rings in inventory to make it easier. Simply exemplary!!

Bleach is ending- not over. its got a final arc. and I am reading it online.

Erm... if absolving does not fix it and getting killed by a DM once does not cancel it out then I am afraid you are gona have to trade for it... (I have a spare one on my 120 coincidentally enough )

Dan the man please help old Broke out. My SL 84 needs it but I don't have the RSS as of yet. The second option is viable but I don't want to go that route if I don't have to. What do you want for the DWGR? Either my SL84 may have something or my SL128 should have something you need. If we can do the deal just let me know when we can meet up - I will be in your debt a thousand times over!!

We use the Hauppauge HDPVR Gaming Edition. We use the latest model.

Which capture device are you looking to purchase? I did a lot of research before I purchased the Happuage HD PVR so I can probably give you a 2nd or 3rd opinion on how good or bad it is.
