DLC wasnt worth it IMO

15 dollars for about 2 hours of story mode and few new enemies and weapons?

I'm still waiting on it to hit consoles, but I can say I feel the respective PvP changes (mostly new armor, weapons, and spells [especially spells for me ]) as well as a few (admittedly over-done) nerfs will actually allow me to get fully into the PvP scene. And if they don't, then I'll at least have a few dozen more builds to try out and do challenge runs with and keep me going for quite a while

Alright so it might be around 2 hours of story line, but how much did you actually spend on it? searching for secrets, in the arena etc.

Now im often faced with the question " was it worth the money", and i found myself a simple solution; it might not be yours but it is mine.

The average movie ticket costs around $8, and lasts 1:30-2;00 hours, then i ask myself how much ive played and compare the prices. And Ive defiantly played on the new content for more than 4 hours

I WANT those new spells, I'm getting it for sure.

I love the new content. It was damn near heavenly going blind into new Dark Souls areas after playing the original game so long. The exploration, spells, weapons and movesets (dual-wielding!), the new warpable bonfires, and most of all the absolutely kick-*** bosses. I'd pay a whole lot more than $15.

I'm still unsure. I said before that 4 bosses for ten pounds was my minimum.. i think they've hit that dunno though as i dont know details very well, but i think i'll buy it. i'll definitely play the dlc content for over a pound an hour so i think it'll be worth it for me

DWGR's nerf makes it worth it in my opinion. Completely new PvP.

It's worth it for me. I'm glad that I can play Dark Souls on my PC. Somehow, even though I'm playing it on a 17 inch laptop screen compared to my big screen TV, it seems more engrossing.

For me it was and wasn't.

Pound for pound, not at all, but the content, while not great in size, is great in awesomeness, and supporting FROM is something that is good. When Dark Souls 2 (whatever) comes out, I want them to feel like its a good idea to make it, and maybe make DLC for it.

i'm pretty sure they'll patch regardless of whether dlc is bought or not.. just creates uneven playing field

if you already have it on console and dont enjoy pvp, then yes .. its a waste

30€ for a computer version of the game, the dlc, soundtrack, poster, postcards, and more, was worth it.

I'll probably buy it for the ps3 once it comes out too.

Before judging this dlc expansion of the game, people should look at some other great games, and look at its DLCs, and I'm only glad the DLC we got isn't just some new skins and a couple of challenges or new character that can only use in a part of the game.

Anyway, as someone said, maybe it wasn't worth your 15€, it was well worth mine, I'm really happy about it. township is awesome! and the boss fights and new armours are pretty cool!

Exactly Purity, just take a look at Dragon`s Dogma for instance. Great game but it has the most lackluster DLC`s i´ve ever seen. So 15$ for 2h content really isn`t that bad considering that if you just run from boss to boss Dark Souls lasts only about 9-10 hours.

And of course Chester alone makes it worth 15$

Dark Souls is about 8 hours long. The only reason it takes like 30 hours (or more) is because of the amount of things you have to learn. You walk slowly in new areas, you search them carefully, you die, you retry some failed attempt, you run back and forth between blacksmiths, etc

It took me much longer than 2 hours to get through the DLC content, although I do wish the Oolacile Township had a bit more too it, after I took out Atorias - found the area after it to be a bit easy. Never felt the need to 'figure out the area' while going through it, just sorta steam rolled it.
