    I am currently using the Gravelord Sword, but the game is telling me that the Dragonslayer Spear will deal more damage. The thing is, every enemy I fight, dies faster against the Gravelord Sword. I don't think every enemy has lightning resist, plus it does more physical than lightning. Even enemies that the wiki says is weak to lightning die quicker to my Gravelord Sword. Why is this happening?

    The difference between the two weapons is that the Gravelord Sword is pure physical, where as the DragonSlayer Spear is split damage between lightning and physical. So unless there is a big difference in the AR, the gravelord sword would do more damage.

    Um.. thanks. I got rid of the Gravelord Sword for a Divine Server +9. Does much more damage, has the Divine Aux. effect, and gives me health. I'm gonna try other Server variants, but I'm gonna stick with Divine. Also, what do you mean by AR, ssss_2_is_pwnage? I got attack range.

    Attack rating. Basically what your offensive value is before the enemies defensive value is applied to it.

    Ok, divine does more magic damage, which means its better against heavily armoured opponents since heavy armours have less magic defense. Occult has more physical damage and so is better vs lightly armoured foes. Depends on who you fight for which is better.

    At 50 Faith, they're magical ARs are basically the same. Divine has more base AR and occult more scaling AR, or viceversa I don't remember well. Either way I choose it for lore issues.

    I ended up goin with Occult, because the Occult Aux. effect works against more people, and I farm lighter-armored foes. Thanks for all the responses people, and that is all.

    The Occult Aux. doesn't work against people in terms of PvP, and neither does Divine. It only affects PvE play.

    No, I'm saying against more enemies that I fght, like silver knights and such.

    Raw only goes to +5 I believe.

    And it makes weapons scale worse. So their only viable at lower lvls where your stats arent high enough to produce greater damage, but then as you progress to med lvls elementals are better until your stats reach their peak scaling.

    So all in all Raw weapons are only viable at low lvls
