its defense is mediocre but its resistances are good. also losing after cutting weight for wrestling is worse.

yea it is, i have districts this coming weekend, and my weight class is stacked with 5 state champions and twice as many placers :/

ouch. been there. 165 was redicilous. i dont know how good you are so remember to work smart not hard and good luck. obviously i dont wrestle now, jujitsu gets me my fix.
the armors physical defences are mediocre but its magical resistances are good (for medium armor)

full armor set has a 40 poise, which is not really that useful. Physical def. is also not that impressive, but elemental def. makes up for.
Still over-all i personally don't like the set. mixing up sets like dark knight, paladin, xanthous etc. will give a better result for the same weight-range.

not a wrestler but i know some in my highschool and they're all really dedicated, i've also heard them complain aboit weight requirements but not sure what it meant... ah well, yes Oregon FTW!

Oregon? Hell yeah! But I don't wrestle.
On topic. I love the dark set. Its light, mediocre but most importantly looks good. I like combining it as: dark mask, smoughs gloves, dark armor, channeler's bottoms. It looks good and gives you good stats.
