Right, so I just finished a play through of demons souls and now I'm coming back to lordran... AND I BOUGHT THE DLC!!

So then, I wanna start a fresh character to go through a play through to the DLC with, so give me some fun suggestions guys the more random the better

Try using a mace or pick based weapon.

Kill that giant and use it's Giant Hammer. One of the most fun i've had with weapons since the Dark Sword. If not, the Four Pronged Plow dropped by the scarecrows in the Royal Wood. It's R2 is so fun!

dual rapiers for a jamie build?

Have you tried only using projectiles? Bows, crossbows and thrown weapons.. i guess you could include the crystal ring shield later on..
Actually a no melee character would be very difficult to do me thinks.. save on VIT though...

I haven't tried that, if he was hybrid of dex/int/att then you could rack him up with super powerful sorceries for offence, then have a bow for regular mobs.. Though would be so hard as I'd be half health constantly :/

If bows were any good like on demons souls I'd try that out, but they just don't deal any significant damage. (Though iv heard gough's bow is a monster)

Composite Bow is a BRUTE, and great for PvE/P.

Since you've played a lot of DkS already I'd recommend staying low lvl in stats like str, dex, faith, etc., and wait to start the 'build' part of your build till you've gotten a few new weapons from the dlc. Give yourself enough vit and end, but maybe hold off on the rest till you find something new that interests you.
