I am SL 60. Yes I know that is late to be doing darkroot. Every time I go in though, 2 forest guardians always seem to invade. And 2 on 1 is not fun.

It is, but if you're having all this trouble the long way might not be so bad. Or just go in Hollow that way you can't be invaded.

^That would probably be your best bet seeing as the hydra isn't too hard to kill. You would just need to kill it and the three catgators and you'll be fine.
